How? Just by commenting out the lines in the ini? Sorry if I have small eyes and brain

It's not skygfx, in my inis when you need to disable something you set it to 0. Simple as that.

y tho? wasn't the code originally written for patch 8 in the first place? Couldn't it just be sticken in the old asi? I thought the iv modding communtiy didn't like ce, now nobody is supporting patch 8? god I hate the iv modding community.

First, because I was paid to make this compatible with latest patch, not the other way around. Otherwise I'd done nothing at this point. Second, if you check few posts above, you'll find another answer.

Hello, yes the building on the right side of your screenshot was very buggy for me. Textures were invisible.

I tested it now once again, vanilla GTA Complete (Steam), only latest ColAccel and Ultimate-ASI-Loader,  now the bug is different but still present.

(looks like Romans Cab depot?)

There were also other bugs like a building (texture and model) in the middle of the road.

So i would not recommend using it. It only saves a few seconds on loading time.

Anybody else wants to test it? I have an AMD graphics card.

Edit: @ThirteenAG

In your screenshot, theres buggy textures too, right?

Some vehicle fixes:

https://www.gtainside.com/en/gta4/cars/124635-gta-4-rancher-collision-model-fix/

https://www.gtainside.com/en/gta4/cars/130694-karin-sultan-trunk-fix/

Also, the Schafter has an unused grille in the model (extra_5). It can be seen in some beta screenshots.

It is toggleable.

No.

I looked into those. Never fixed it in GTA IV, but in my LC port for GTA V, I noticed they placed an extra low quality building there. It wasn't even set as a LOD, but a normal map placement.

How did you remove them? You should avoid changing the wpl's or the scripts will mess up for map changes. Seems that all the GTA games (excluding GTA V) mess up for map changes that occur during the story, like a building that gets destroyed. I think that works by indexing all the map placements, and adding/removing stuff offsets it.

In my mod, instead of deleting the LOD quality building, I shrunk it down and made it super tiny as a little Easter egg to mock Rockstar's mistake. :D You'd have to no clip into the building and find the tiny version inside.

Hello friends, i have updated the file and link to my fixes-merge-mod.

I have removed ColAccel because it caused massive graphical bugs.

For example it was visible when starting a new game and then driving to the skyscrapers near the rollercoster, these buildings had invisible textures.

I have tested it several times.

BTW, did you know that you can delete 1.813 unused files in your GTA IV installation directory?

In the past Rockstar integrated all "carrec***.rrr" files with an patch in data/cdimages/carrec.img but forgot(?) to remove all unpacked files.

In my opinion the game runs a little bit smoother with the latest patch - especially when driving and looking around it's noticeable.

But we need to fix missing coquette-engine sound and missing TBoGT menue music.

It's in the "plugins" folder.

Nice man. I haven't had time to do the merge yet.

Another thing that I'm interested in implementing this mod is adding back the multiplayer. It seems that the LAN is fully functional in Complete Edition. It even uses my Social Club ID for my username. The left over TLAD debug scripts still had MP intact. I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar does decide to add back MP in a later update. They plan on adding the EFLC exclusive radio stations, so it's likely that this will allow us to finally complete the sound track, and still have Independence FM working.

Also, when Rockstar releases the next GTA Online update, they'll likely fix a ytd limit issue in GTA V which is preventing me from adding more ytd's. Can't load LC at the moment. Once it's fixed, I'm going to use a Neural Network Image Enhancement tool to make the +hi textures that are 1024x1024. I'll be able to get the non hi textures for the TBOGT interiors to be 512x512 so it should be possible to complete the PC Quality Texture Fix mod for TBOGT by porting those textures back to the GTA IV format.

actually with jinx mod independence FM works just fine.
issue was simple native trainer, where it showed name of station as subtitle, which made game crash.

Done ! Looks like we now have an all-in-one community patch for GTA IV... it has already 1.9 GB now 🙂

Maybe i should do an extra thread.

But i am not sure if it is ok for everyone when i use their original mods/fixes?

At least i give the credits/original authors... Hope it's ok like this - but thank you all for your dedication to this game!

V1.5.0:

This bugfix conversion mod includes:

- FusionFix by El Dorado v1.21
- Graphical Bug Fixes v1.2 + EFLC PC Quality Texture Update v0.1 by nkjellman
- IV Fixes & Improvements v3.0 by Zolika1351
- Fixed water shaders for AMD-Radeon users
- Extend Vid Mem by colistro123
- FIB Fix by Custo
- Rancher Collision Model Fix by Phenom FX
- Karin Sultan Trunk Fix by jacell
- Fixed Combat Shotgun Icon Fix by DavSte
- Plane Flight Path Improvements by C4PT41N BOMB4RD
- optimized stream.ini, mirror-fix, more visible rain-drop-textures by me

To fix the broken ingame-mirrors add "-forcehighqualitymirrors" to Steam GTAIV launch-parameters or to commandline.txt for Non-Steam version.

Bonus:

- Colored Weapon HUD, Colored Radio HUD & Nicer HUD/Blips

Just drag & drop to your GTAIV-folder

GTA IV Vanilla Fixes V1.5.0

I personally install GTA IV quite often, play for a while and then uninstall it again. So i find it quite handy to have all fixes in one package. And i will keep it updated.

Most annoying bug for me is still texture flickering, especially visible when flying...

It is generally good practice to ask the authors permission, but seeing how you're doing nothing but spreading awareness for their mod, I don't think anyone would mind. You're not exactly doing any harm.

However, GTA Forums has a rule against modpack topics and absolutely crucifies you if you make a topic dedicated to one, so don't do that.

Thanks  El Dorado ,good idea to bring some of the better improvements into one pack.

Though i'm in two minds about these new releases from Rockstar

The best time i had with GTA4 was the original version updated to 1.4 + a good texture pack and some mods .

I have a feeling a lot of good stuff will probably stop working when they do these new game versions.

I suppose it's why releases like this are quite good ,at least you can say the things in this pack have been tested and work ok.

GTAIV Vanilla Fixes V1.3

Uh, I tried this, nothing is different- I unpacked the rar in the gtaiv folder, where the exe runs, nothing is different at all

Do I need to do anything else? the water still sucks (amd), no different colors for radio and weapons etc.

Never extract in the game directly. If you want to revert back to original files it's the best thing you can do to break the game and reinstall it..

Extract in downloads folder, open the extracted folder, take the files in GTAIV_Vanilla_Fixes and then put these files in gta IV folder, it must appears messages about replacing files (this is not only adding files, but replacing).

Spider-Vice

The modding forums rules are very clear:

Quote

Mod Packs:
Mod packs are not allowed under any condition, even with permission from the authors to upload their mods. We promote people to work on their own mods here instead of uploading a pack of other peoples work and calling it a 'mod'.

We appreciate that you're trying to make people's lives easier @GTAVI(CE) but we prefer people to make their own mods and not just package others' and call it a mod. No modpacks are allowed, sorry.

Hey there guys. I'm running version 1.0.07 and I just can't get Fusion Fix to work no matter what! I don't think the ASI is loading when I'm in game, but other ASI's seem to load like the native simple trainer. I'm running at 4K on 144HZ, and my cut-scenes are not limiting the FPS or the FOV. Limiting my FPS through the ini doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas for getting it working?

It doesn’t support 1.0.7.0.

It does actually support patch 7, you just have to use the older version because GTA IV modders are autists who can't agree on a single version of GTA 4 to mod.

Ah, I thought it only supported 1.0.8.0 because I tried it on 1.0.4.0 yesterday and couldn't get it to start, so I thought it'd be the same for 1.0.7.0.

Oh OK, do I have to download a different version of the mod then? If not I can always go back to my backup of the latest steam version, I'm just wanting to play the story mode without the zooming and stuttering.
