Guest Billy Russo
Holy hell I am excited for this. Breaking Bad is in my Top 3 shows of all time and I've been extremely interested to see what happens to Jesse after the events of Breaking Bad. Laker23
Probably my favourite show but in an ideal world I'd still prefer if this move didn't exist. I loved the ending and liked the fact it left the viewer to interpret what may have happened to the characters after the show, most notably Jesse. With that being said Vince knows what the hell he's doing, and I trust he wouldn't tarnish what he made by putting out a half assed movie. Wasn't expecting it so soon, either. Consider me suitably hyped. Spider-Vice and Ivan1997GTA

Jabalous
YES! I have enjoyed Better Call Saul so far, so I'm very optimistic about this. The Breaking Bad universe is my only favorite in TV entertainment.
Spider-Vice
Agree that it really didn't need a film after the events of the TV show, but I trust Vince, so consider me very interested. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! I do agree with that, but I don't think it'll taint the series in anyway. I feel the same way about Better Call Saul. It's a separate entity. If they made it a mini-series under the Breaking Bad name and it was Season 6 then I would likely feel the same way. I'll be going in to this not expecting Breaking Bad level, as that is just unrealistic.
TheGodDamnMaster
I'm really stoked for this. I hope they delve more into how the country reacted to Walt's death. Maybe a line about whether or not his family got his money. Laker23
I felt empty the first time I finished Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul is also incredible. Not as action oriented as BB, it's much more slow and methodical, but the characters, writing, and everything else is easily on par with BB. I couldn't get in to Better Call Saul personally, although it wasn't a bad show. Just don't really think it was my thing. I do like the character of Saul Goodman, but I was just much more engaged with characters like Walt and Jesse that it made the slow parts better. It's why I think I'll take to this immediately, I always liked Jesse and the side characters around him.

Season 3 I feel is where it picks up steam, although still not as crazy as BB gets at its peak. Kim from BCS is one of the top 3 characters from both series, IMO, and anytime I get to see more Mike is always a good time, and makes me hate Walt more for what happened there. Even if it isn't incredible, I still think it'll be better than most Netflix content that gets put out. You don't just forget how to do Breaking Bad after 5 Seasons, I think it'll be really good. Aaron Paul is quite underrated sometimes, he really held his own on Breaking Bad. Some of the best acting I've seen.

Seems like they're purposely keeping a lot of it secret, which I honestly love. Way too many shows and movies feel the need to reveal way too much ahead of time. He honestly looks older in that picture. I agree with you, I hope they don't do a huge reveal trailer just before it drops. I feel like a lot of the times they just ruin so many scenes. I won't be watching it regardless, but I'd still rather not have anything spoiled. Hopefully it's a lowkey trailer.

If you go back and look at him in that season it's exactly how he looked, and the background of the lab is the giveaway if you look hard enough. That picture in particular may have only been used for promotional purposes. Netflix released something else now. No new footage, but a short version of all the sh*t Jesse went through in the BB series. Pretty cool video to look back on. Laker23
Oh boy, the anticipation is getting very, very real now. Some interesting scenes in that trailer. Definitely a flashback/hallucination in there and it still doesn't really show us anything we wouldn't already know. Bring it on. TheGodDamnMaster
And the closing shot of this movie will be Jesse snapping out of a hallucination. The last 10 minutes of the series finale were a dream and he's still chained up in that warehouse cooking meth for the nazis. Mister Pink
I don't want to be really negative but from the trailer this film isn't really doing anything for me. It's bordering on melodrama, in my opinion. I think it's because it's too serious. Not that serious is a problem, just that it seems too sincere, a bit depressing and a bit melodramatic. Are we going to see some humour in this film? I'm not sure. It might look out of place given its serious tone. Other films like Goodfellas are really good at putting chilling serious themes along side humour and banter. And the humour never undermines the serious nature. I enjoyed Breaking Bad and I'll give this film a watch. I'm only going by the trailer, so I could be completely off the mark.
