MCMXCII
Quote "Peter Fonda, who broke out from under the legendary Fonda family name with Easy Rider, has died. He was 79. Fonda, the son of acting legend Henry Fonda, the younger brother of Jane Fonda and the father of Bridget Fonda, died Friday morning at his home in Los Angeles, according to his rep." For those you who do not know who he was, he voiced "The Truth" in GTA: San Andreas but that was not his most famous role. Tchuck
Oh sh*t! I was just reading about him yesterday, while reading about Jack Nicholson's retirement and health. Had no idea he was battling cancer... RIP to the real Captain America. MCMXCII and Ivan1997GTA

Oh it's all good. I've done that before in the past. The mods will more than likely merge our topics sooner or later.
GTA-Biker
R.I.P. Weird how I never even recognized the Truth's voice and realized that he voiced The Truth in GTA SA.I mostly knew him from his biker-themed movies (Easy Rider, The Wild Angels, Wild Hogs and Ghost Rider). Mister Pink
Yeah, used to have Easy Rider on DVD. Really liked that film. Completely forgot he voices The Truth. Another bit of trivia for you all. Peter Fonda did LSD with The Beatles and inspired the lyrics to the song "She Said." Quote On this day, perhaps the most significant encounter was with the actor Peter Fonda, who attempted to comfort Harrison. The Beatles' guitarist was having problems with the LSD, and thought he was dying. I told him there was nothing to be afraid of and that all he needed to do was relax. I said that I knew what it was like to be dead because when I was 10 years old I'd accidentally shot myself in the stomach and my heart stopped beating three times while I was on the operating table because I'd lost so much blood. John was passing at the time and heard me saying 'I know what it's like to be dead'. He looked at me and said, 'You're making me feel like I've never been born. Who put all that sh*t in your head?' - Peter Fonda The lyrics to the song go.. Quote "She saidI know what it's like to be deadI know what it is to be sad"And she's making me feel like I've never been born.." Craigsters
Split Image (1982) my favourite that he was in Because of his father money and Sister's Jane Fonda money from those 80's exercise workout video's , He could be picky and choosy about his acting rules and not sell out, he had money!.. SneakyDeaky
He said I know what it's like to be dead. Not being funny but that was the original lyrics to She Said, She Said, by the Beatles. Here is John working out the original demo after meeting Peter. Loved Easy Rider, and another film of his is The Hired Hand. A really beautiful slow burn Western that's quite underrated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hired_Hand It's on youtube and co stars the awesome Warren Oats Edited August 22, 2019 by SneakyDeaky Ivan1997GTA
