Additional Rewards for Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond Members

 

 

The Diamond Casino & Resort's slate of exclusive rewards expands this week with an assortment of new perks and up to GTA$400,000 in gifts. Those seeking to keep the perks rolling can play GTA Online any time before August 21 to get the latest Diamond Program benefits, detailed below:

 

 

To qualify for Silver Status this period, Penthouse owners need only log in to GTA Online anytime between August 15 and 21. In return, they'll be rewarded with GTA$250,000.

 

 

There are plenty of reasons to help Mr. Cheng protect his business interests from the imperious magnates of the Duggan family. Namely, completing the second Casino Story Mission, "House Keeping," affords players Gold Status in the Diamond Program, rewarding:

For real, for the first time they are being 100% truthful in their in-game advertisements.

 

This car flat out OBLITERATES the entire supercar car class.

 

Not even the Scramjet is faster than it in a track, you read that right: THE ROCKET-BOOSTED CAR IS SLOWER THAN THIS!

(And you can't even race with it)

 

It's also faster than the Tyrant WITHOUT the advanced handling flags...And also happens to be the most expensive car in the game that you can bring to races.

So much negativity already! This is not a bad week at all, and thanks to Rockstar for constantly trying to rotate things and keep the game fresh.

 

• The new Progen Emerus is expensive but at least the price tag can be justified by its performance. +1 for that.
• New RC Bandito time trials! Well, that's something new to do this week. I like leaderboards and love the RC bandito too.
• 2 x cash on Arena Wars. Not great, but not bad if (like me) you already own all this stuff. Sure, Rockstar trying to plug this once again with heavy discounts is a bit tiresome, but Arena Wars is nowhere near as bad as people make out. In fact, the Awards and Trophies part of AW are really well implemented and thought out.
• The rest of this event week is forgettable (to me) but no-one should be complaining about getting GTA$250,000 for free, and the possibility of winning yet another free car (albeit worthless) is great.

The only way this car could be nerfed is if they remove the AHF it has, as that's what makes it go faster on bumps, it bounces but it's also very controllable...Like the Itali GTO all over again, but over a million more expensive.

 

What R* could do here to remedy the situation entirely is not only remove the AHF it has, but also remove the flags of the Tyrant, Entity XXR, Deveste 8, Tezeract and the Taipan...But nope, they are here to stay.

Well its par for the course actually. sh*t weeks always come from R* before new DLC drops and seeing as RDO has had its discounted extended and GTAO got this week its safe to say that RDO will be getting it DLC next week.

Alright, let's look into this week point-by-point, @Jenkiiii-style:

• The Emerus: besides the Gauntlet siblings, Peyote Gasser and Rampant Rocket, this was the car that I wanted the most because I'm passionate about McLaren and everything they do. I love everything about the Emerus as well, especially that the road-facing windows were carried over from the Senna - something that makes the car so distinctive in the automotive world. I'm even a little bit biased to seeing it being so overpowered compared to the rest of the supers class, being happy that it is this way;
• RC Bandito Time Trials: a nice side-activity when I'm bored of my usual doings. I'll definitely give it a shot when I have the chance;
• Double on Arena War, Dinka Jester Classic on the Podium, Casino Store Additions, Discounts, Limited-Time Twitch thing: don't care, already have everything I wanted anyway and, in case of the Casino Decorations, I'm waiting for better things to be offered.
• Diamond Program: yeah, if you're really going to demand more stuff from your playerbase so they can get bonuses that should be given simply by logging in without having given out all that you promised from the first round yet, then you better make sure that the only thing you ask of us is to log in. Just hurry up and give out the rest.

I'm okay with this week. Car is exactly what I wanted, RC Bandito Time Trials are cool, the rest is good for those interested and shame on the Diamond Program.

Test-drove the Emerus on my track, Vangelico Sprint.

 

It's a bit of a mixed bag. It feels like it accelerates harder than the other supers released with this update (like the Thrax) and as long as the road is smooth, it corners extremely well (corners that most cars have to at least lift for, the Emerus can take flat-out). It is more nervous than some recent additions like the Thrax, and while it isn't as bouncy as some Supers, it's not the most stable car out there. A better driver than me can certainly do better than the 51.2x time I achieved, but I think it'd take a lot of work. Meanwhile, with the Thrax, I can knock almost two seconds off that due to its much better stability.  And at $2.75 million, I personally think there are better buys in this class.

It's just banter most of the time really imho =)~ Personal preferences and so... and ppl like to complain, we all love the game, hence we are here reading about the brand new update

 

In reference to the Emerus: I bet the "Benefactor Krieger" will be even faster. I'm kind of a collector, but if you just wish to own the fastest Supercar, you should probaly wait another week or two.

The Emerus is a beast.  If you want to compete in Stunt Races it's a must have.  Kind of like the Pariah in the sports class, in fact just like that.
