Red Dead Redemption 2 Spaghetti Western Conversion Mod

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Spaghetti Western Conversion Mod Topic.

What's the plan?
I'm planning on taking all the elements from the Spaghetti Western movies, including

  • Gun sounds;
  • Ennio Morricone's scores from movies;
  • Making the guns look more real (especially the Colt SAA which doesn't have the right shapes);
  • and would be cool to have the actors models from famous movies in the game.

So I'm better at making sounds mods than models and such (I only converted a car from GTA IV to GTA V) but would be nice to have some help for the sound design too.
So if anyone, anyone, would like to join the team... feel free to ask!

The final result should be like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly but as a videogame, I feel like people would like that.

Of course it's useless to start working on this right now, I think it's a smart choice to wait until a trailer or an announcement.

The Cattleman Revolver doesn't look like a Colt SAA because it's not a Colt SAA, it's a... Cattleman Revolver.

The Cattleman is a replica of the Colt SAA. I know what I'm talking about, the cylinder of the one in the game is bigger than a real one and that's what it's wrong with it.

I don’t know exactly how feasible replacing the score is going to be. If you take a look at the thread on the main RDR2 board where someone recorded all of the score, there is A LOT of pieces and alternate slices for the dynamic score the game has.

12/11/2019 Status Update Currently, I started working on the project with what I can. I can't modify anything internally until an RPF editor comes out but I'm now working on stuff that don't need that for now so that when a software like OpenIV will be available some stuff will be already ready to be tested in the game.

I have a Colt .45 and a Colt Walker ready to be converted.

Stay tuned for more!

Hi! I guess you never worked again on this mod, right? It sounded really cool.
