PowerGamingU 21
Hello. Does anyone know how to make mods for the PlayStation version of Grand Theft Auto 2? I use the Sty Tool and I choose the PS sty file and the tool says "punk, why the f*ck are you choosing a non-gta2 file sty format" or something like that. And also i think STYed might give me viruses. So please help me!
Sektor 107
The STY editing tools weren't really designed for the PS1 version, so most wouldn't be compatible. No one really cared since the PC version is superior. If you got STYEd from a legit site then it's fine, most likely your AV is just giving a false positive. I don't think any of the editors support the PS1 STY format. The Dreamcast STY files open in STY Tool. The PS1 STY files don't have GBST in their header like the other systems, so maybe they are compressed or encoded or just missing the header. Someone smarter than me can figure it out. Thank you, but is modding the Dreamcast like modding the PC?
