Sinistro - coming from the Latin 'sinister' means left-handed or accident in Italian

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sinistro

Some findings that are backed by some scientific evidence. I'll post the source below so you can follow the links to the studies/articles.

Quote

Lefties seem to remember episodic events better than facts. Dr. Stephen Christman and Dr. Ruth Propper, of the University of Toledo in Ohio concluded that the two halves of the brain work together in episodic memory to help remember events for lefties

I would say I'm prone to this. I'm left with the thoughts and feelings of events but lack the ability to dive in the facts of a situation that led me to arrive at my thoughts. If true, this may explain why I gravitate to creativity. It's processing emotions, feelings through photography, music etc That's not to say, I'm a facts over feelings person. I'm very much an advocate of science, although I am human.

Lefties are better at video games. According to research conducted by Dr. Nick Cherbuin at the Australian National University, left-handers often outperform their right-handed counterparts at fast or difficult tasks involving a large amount of information or stimuli. These tasks include activities such as talking while driving, piloting jet fighters, and playing fast-paced video games.

I'm terrible at fast-paced FPS games. But I'm good at multitasking spraying bullets from car behind me in GTA and managing to  keep a relatively good line and stay on the road. And playing Forza with fully manual w/c online, I did well enough, very quickly. But overrall, I generally, I wouldn't be a good gamer per se.

Right-handed people have higher cognitive skills, less behavioral and speech problems, less often have learning disabilities, and more often graduate their school (on average), but lefties produce an above-average quota of high achievers.

Yeah, I read left-handed people can be more prone to alcoholism, cognitive issues and more. But usually you see these articles promoting certain lefties, leaders and musicians and I think it's just to make people feel better. But the reality is actually is not so rosie.  Which brings me to the next finding.

Quote

Lefties earn significantly less money than right-handed people. A Harvard University team found that lefties earn between 10% and 12% less than righties do. They attributed this difference to “observed differences in cognitive skills and emotional-behavioral problems.”

Can't say I haven't had problematic emotional-behavioral problems in the past.

Quote

Left-handed people are rarely included as study subjects for brain or genetic research because the differences with right-handed people cause noise in the final results

I use both equally.  For everything.  To prove it I will post a gif.   I can make the object rotate in any direction on demand.

Proof

I'm left-handed myself but I learned to do plenty of things with the right hand. With my right hand (and the mouse) I draw digitally, and with the left hand and pencil I do traditional. However, when it comes to doing forceful tasks, like carrying the fully-loaded groceries cart upstairs (because there's no elevator where I live) there's nothing like my left hand.

Love it when we've foreign lorry drivers come in they see me writing with my left hand and regularly ask why I wasn't beaten as a child until I used my right hand.

Same.

I write with my left, would first-punch interchangeably, use a right-hand mouse, play right-hand-guitar. In fact now, that I think about it, I do more things with my right but only because that's the way the environment forces me to behave. I often wondered if I'd be better if controllers for video games where designed for lefties by default, would I be better at first-person shooters or is my left-handiness been a burden this whole time?

I can't even imagine trying to learn playing on a left-handed guitar now. Because now that I think of it, you use your "weak" hand to pay chords, when playing normal/right handed.

The Time Ranger

https://www.anythinglefthanded.co.uk/being-lh/lh-info/myths.html

For thousands of years, the Devil has been associated with the left hand in various ways and is normally portrayed as being left-handed in pictures and other images. In the seventeenth century it was thought that the Devil baptised his followers with his left-hand and there are many references in superstitions to the “left-hand side” being associated with evil. As an example, in France it was held that witches greet Satan “avec le bras gauche” or with the left hand. It is also considered that we can only see ghosts if we look over our left shoulder and that the Devil watches us over the left shoulder.

I do recall my parents mentioning in their school days students who wrote with their left hand were punished for doing so.
