IzzyBlues 1,783
Just as a heads up, it seems that the new summer update has added in some new distilled versions of the mission themes including Favored Sons, Sadie Adler, Widow and The Fine art of Conversation as well as some other tracks that were tied to the Bounty Hunter Role missions. I'll see what I can record when I get the chance to record the tracks through 1:1 optical, that's if Napalm doesn't want to record them himself for consistency's sake. EDIT: Okay, there are a sh*t load of new tracks. Not just a couple. It's going to take time to get them all because there are passive/combat stems and online tracks are about 10x as hard to record because of the disconnections issues with Rockstar servers. Ali888 2
Thank you so much @Napalmbrain for this awesome work. I just listening to this masterpiece everyday; all day and night (until RDR3 comes out! Lol) Btw, does Wanted songs include in your RDR2 Gamerip ?

Zac1997 2
@Napalmbrain, Would it be possible to make it available through Google Drive or Torrent please? my internet is slow and this is bad when it comes to downloading from mega, i believe making the download available on other servers would help those who have the slow internet, or if the original download goes down Edited December 6, 2019 by Zac1997
Stepupmoose 18
i have been looking for this since the 1st month rdr2 came out, im really grateful!! Stepupmoose 18
Here's hoping this thread gets updated with each individual music file as soon as possible, i never found a thread dedicated to gta 5 music from the actual in game files and nobody has ever released them (there are couple of threads but they're mainly just the already remixed by 'that score' or recorded by silentagent) , i had to ask "that score" guy himself to send a few, he was polite enough thanks to him I managed to have 95% of flac music files of the story until he quiet on me.
IzzyBlues 1,783
I've sent all of the raw, lossless files to Napalm already. I'm just waiting on him to finish editing. He has made a start on it, but he's super busy with other IRL stuff at the moment so I can't say when exactly it will be available.

Lockdown1 3
@IzzyBlues93 Also, is there any chance you, or @Napalmbrain would be willing to share how we could do our own optical recordings? I would love to do my own project for Spider-man PS4 as the music in that game is very very good! Thank you if either of you are willing to help.

I would love to do my own project for Spider-man PS4 as the music in that game is very very good! Thank you if either of you are willing to help. Have a soundcard that can do Optical In, check your motherboard, if not then you need to buy one. Generally the one TOSLINK input that comes standard or included on motherboards is TOSLINK out, you need TOSLINK in for it to come up as a recording device. Plug in TOSLINK/Optical cable to your soundcard to your PS4. Choose the TOSLINK in Recording Device as your default recording device, make sure you tick the "Listen to this device" box to hear what you are recording, make sure the volume slider is all the way up for your recording device. Download Goldwave, set up your recording device as your TOSLINK input Record and play away. Make sure you set your gameplay sounds off and leave the music on (this is obviously a given) Be sure to save as raw format to ensure the highest quality possible. Have the patience of a saint to sit there and record all of the music. it's VERY draining. Good luck. PS: Alternatively you can record via Line-In, however the Line-In port on motherboards generally has a lot of static, so it's best to use something external. teufeufeu 15
Had to comment on that just to leave a huge "Thanks" This is incredible work, and I am really grateful that someone did it Although, isn't there some kind of method to extract directly the soundtrack from the game files ? Isn't it possible ? Edit : I'll upload your flac files on a Google Drive, Mega has an annoying limit Edited March 5, 2020 by teufeufeu
Stepupmoose 18
im in "that scores" discord, there is recent news about openiv releasing rdr2 support (dlc music cannot be opened at this time) he already worked on rdr2 trailer 1 and outlaws from the west as of right now hes working on urban pleasures as much as i want to upload the individual files, i cant (i dont have the game and i dont know how) but if one of you can, it'll be amazing
IzzyBlues 1,783
I got into the DLC music just fine through OpenIV.
teufeufeu 15
Well I do have the game on PC, discovered it about a month ago now and instantly had a crush with the OST. Always loved the western vibes and that game is really quiet a thing... Weird thing is that the "official" albums of the OST are far away from complete, I mean there are a LOT of songs in the game that I don't find on those 2 albums... So I looked up some more songs on YouTube and find quiet some more but it made me think of 2 things Where did they got them ? How did they managed to get them ? Every playlist/album ( unofficial ) that I find aren't similar, like every uploader managed to do their own "album" of the OST and it is really annoying, because the quality isn't that great and the tracks aren't the same from a playlist to an other ( To my knowledge, this is the best playlist i've seen so far But still, couldn't find the "Train Heist Theme" on this one... and that bothers me a lot, because it could probably mean that a few tracks are missing. ) So I guess to make a FINAL POINT and get the COMPLETE sounds/songs of this game, is to get into those files. I'll try to have a look on the game files during next week and see if anyone have done some work on it. And as promised, here are the SAME FILES FROM THE AUTHOR on Google Drive if it can be useful to anyone in here. Stepupmoose 18
Most of the "unofficial" tracks are reposted but with a different picture in the background, the one you mentioned above is silentagent most of the tracks he has is recorded. But he gets lazy so he just does it once and then abandons it.

I'm not sure you'll be seeing the OGG's posted here, there's a lot of tracks and some have up to 24 strands! So exported alone you're looking at a few hundred MB's possibly a GB.
IzzyBlues 1,783
I spent a good few hours doing this, but I've managed to track down and export all moonshine bar band sets with their instruments. I've also categorized everything into drunk/sober and renamed the audio files to their respective instruments to make the listening/mixing process easier. https://mega.nz/#F!MyJzQKoS!LNrAnIejYL9tHR1OIvNr7A Have fun. Awesome work thanks a lot ! Even though i'm not familiar with the multiplayer OST, I listened to your recent upload that you put on YouTube, loved the "American Inferno" I also managed to get through those files with Open IV thanks to your advice but there are so much audio files in this game I'm quiet lost in there, I found the loading screen themes though, which I love really much but still can't get my hand on the others. Do you have any clues on where should I look for it ? Otherwise i'll still look inside every folder/file to find those, but it'll take time.
