I would like to see:

A better survival system

A better wanted system (Lawmen don't recognize you with bandana)

More interiors if possible

Gang members can follow you in free roam

Ability to rob banks in free roam

I see. Maybe I just mistook the mountain lions for bobcats then.

Well I've not explored the whole of RDR2, but it's animal list showed no bobcats. How can you not have bobcats ? It's the USA's most common wildcat !

Yeah that does seem weird for this game to not have bobcats.

I have not played the game on console, but from what I remember from GTA V, I would like to have a mod for the FOV, I think the Field of view is to narrow in many games even on the highest setting.

You don't need to, since the function of "First person" view is adjustable in the game settings...

1. Make the damn map less green, it looked better in trailer 1

2. Better clothing. Ie. Bandana and neck wear at the same time, remove satchel, close coats

3. Better character movement and aiming

4. Fix the annoyingly fast time and weather cycles

Well actually we have had full map ports for GTA V. A full Liberty City map mod does exist for that game, though it's really big to download and isn't too easily found (It's not on 5Mods).
That's not even going into projects like RDRV, an attempt to port the entire RDR1 map to GTA V (That got shut down by TakeTwo). So, it's very possible something could exist for RDR2 in terms of maps, so long as OpenIV (or a similar tool) has decent support for it (which it theoretically should, seeing as RDR2 is based off GTA V's code and the like).

Full as in populated with peds, proper popcycle, traffic paths, zones etc—or just the map itself? Because there’s really no fun in an empty map, and while I can appreciate the effort—it’s not the same if peds and vehicles aren’t properly spawned in their proper locations like in SA2IV.

Paths have been possible for a while in GTA V so...

Hmm, very true. There were some mods for the GTA IV map that put peds and cars there, but it wasn't very complete and was prone to bugs.
As for the RDRV mod I couldn't say, seeing as I didn't really follow the development of that mod.

But it did have proper lighting at night, though that doesn't really help the case. I think there is some fun to exploring an empty map, if only to see how it feels to roam around in it within a different engine, hence why I can totally see some map mods for RDR2 when it comes to PC.

Plus, I'm sure the demand for a proper Mexico map mod would be high enough to warrant someone making proper paths and such in it to make it feel much more alive.

I want to see stagger animations on npc’s when you hit them with various melee weapons. Would also love a World of Variety mod like there was in V.

They already had the name booked for the pickup. There isno pickup in this game hence no bobcat. Very simple indeed.

Sorry I have no idea as to what you said right there.

Bobcat name is already taken in GTA, hence they cannot have it in rdr.

It's ok you didn't get it, that's far fetched 😁

LOL !! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

YOU clearly did not understand what I meant. I'll give you some homework to do. Go and Google what a bobcat is and then come back to this discussion loooooool !!

I know exactly what is a bocat as an animal.

That's my point, the pickup from one game cannot be brought to the other game that doesn't feature cars. And if you see this as a product you wouldn't name two different things by the same name, a car and an animal. Hence no bobcat at all in rdr since that name is taken in GTA for a other thing.

That's just the absurd reasoning I tried to convey in my original message ;)

A simple trainer which disables snipers & wanted level is a must.

Another thing I'd love is a map editor. GTA V PC had it, but I think that was probably easier to do since it had the content creator. I wonder if that would be even possible in RDR2...
