My advice is as follows:

• If you're going to dupe/glitch, do it on your second character so that you don't run out of garage space due to all that stock ready to be sold. Sell one car on your second character every 30 hours and maybe don't sell anything else for several days, just to give yourself a bit of room. Once you can sell two cars consecutively, try to sell a third car but DO NOT sell it even if you're allowed to. This means that you're out of the maximum threshold loop. Now, be conservative in your sales and remember not to sell too many cars per day, even personal or legit cars.

 

I don't dupe or glitch money & I'm not at the 1 Car threshold, I was pointing out that the system doesn't care & will burn anyone regardless.

 

I got burned by the license plate system when they first implemented it, I got false-flagged because both my Cheetah Classic and Armored Cognoscenti 55 came with the same license plate number. 1.2 million dollars down the drain.

Yes, that totally SUCKS if you had two different types of cars with the same license plate number and then got dupe detected. The odds of that happening are millions to one, but it's possible. Personally, I would accept the loss of 1.2 million bucks and move on, especially as Rockstar are literally throwing money at us this week, but the main thing is you didn't lose your customized license plates. No matter how much money you have, this totally sucks when you can't personalize your cars.

Sell limit is shared between both characters so shouldn't matter who you're selling from, dupe detection is not shared between the characters iirc

Well, it must be just me then; I have been in and out of the one-car club on two or three occasions (possibly because the first time I got "dupe-detected" was when selling legit cars to pull in funds from my second character). Also, I don't have custom plates on my second character, but I DO have them on my main character. I consider myself a very LUCKY boy!

 

Either way, I don't have much time or enthusiasm for this game any more, particularly because of work, but it's been a great run over the last six years. Thanks, Rockstar!

I already did, it happened in July 2017. I was using my personal experience as an example on how the system can't tell the difference.

I’ve never duped at all on second profile so it’s proof it’s not only not just about dupers but targeting totally innocent accounts.

 

On my main account I duped a dubsta 2 and cageless Mesa in 2014 on the 360...so technically I’ve duped here and never noticed any daily sell limit but then I’ve actually never gone crazy on the PV sales here.

I’ve never duped at all and I’ve hit it. Thanks iFruit! Deleted custom plate + stubborn refusal to copy over vehicle equity = cheater I guess. I dunno.... the plates always come back with a little patience. And honestly IDGAF.
