Vercettis Posted August 8, 2019 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Sam Houser did an insightful interview with Edge (inactive link: http://www.edge-online.com/features/the-making-of-grand-theft-auto-vice-city/) regarding the making of Vice City that seems to have disappeared. I saw it on an old Neogaf thread, but the Edge link provided no longer works. At least someone in that thread posted about what he had to say about Ray Liotta, though, since that, too, seems to have disappeared from the internet. " Quote I think [Liotta] did get it, to be fair. But he made some comments later on through his agent, something like, "Hey, that game was so big, I should have charged them more money", and I hate that kind of chat. It's like, be cool. You know? I hate that - it's so cheesy. Like he's saying, "Next time I'm really going to pin it to them". Well, how about we just kill off your character? So he doesn't exist - there is no next time. Palacios007 Posted August 12, 2019 Share Posted August 12, 2019 "So there were plenty of other things that influenced us but I would have to say the strongest influence of all became Miami Vice – more so than Scarface, even though the story is more of a Scarfacey story".
