Me either.

A nice event week, double on Ms. Bakers freeroam work is great, and a decent car too - done nicely, even the fog lights work. I really didn't expect that

Well, I already have the Infernus Classic, so I won't be going for that one. I'm almost gonna bet next week's gonna be the Cheetah Classic.

Double on Casino Work's nice, but do we get double chips too? Probably not, but would be nice if we did.

I have the Infernus Classic too and won the car today. Sold my first one and customised the new one just the same. Left me a handsome bit of cash while I still have the car in my garage. Not that I really need the money, but no one got rich from spitting at money 😁

Looks like R* is running out of new artwork already. Around 90% first week's decorations.

i like the casino work a lot.. well designed missions and suits gta so well.. new clothes are cool of course,

and i also probably bought most of the art i want for my penthouse, so..

honestly this is a sweet dlc, you know.. but i wish it has more missions, or atleast i wish they drop more missions related to the casino every month or so.. like they did with simeon..

interiors and the fancy stuff are always cool but also the gameplay, missions, rewards, make the dlc live longer i guess.. love u all ❤️

Even doubled, Bakers payouts are disappointing. Some total roughly 20k between cash & chips... Or less.

The missions are enjoyable and varied enough (for now) that I don’t mind the 15-20k payouts. Mix those missions in with VIP work, source/sell high end vehicle, selling bunker, selling nightclub product, etc, and it becomes less of a bore and pretty profitable.

Using only the Gauntlet Classic instead of a weaponized vehicle is also pretty fun. Getting this car and the map to know each other while hunting down a stolen casino chips armored van or a MIA casino dealer.

You should start getting the FREE poster and hoodie now. They will appear in the relevant section of your inventory as purchased, you do not need to go to the Casino store for them.

To be fair, and I know it's not universal of course, but the days where I'm playing for money/RP are long gone, lol.

I'm enjoying the variety of these very much. Some really fun missions in these and when mixed with numerous other freemode or on call adventures, all adds to it all for me.

I know I won't be doing anything businesses related for a long time, and that's just dandy. :)

Its like our 2013 characters have grown up and retired. It’s so much more relaxing not having to grind anymore. Pretty much have all the casino items i want with chips to spare. Will do a few missions here or there, help out randoms with heists or casino work, gamble, fix up some cars and just drive around all the vehicles I’ve neglected. Wouldn’t mind having Texas Hold  ‘Em against other players but that’s another topic. This has been a good update.

And extremely badass as well.

Seriously, when you play these missions while pretending to be a fixer-on-demand for Ms. Baker, with a normal car (use a muscle car for the best effect) and with just a couple of weapons for that immersion effect - then, damn, does the game shine bright with atmosphere and engagement.

I feel that the second you leave the MkII or whatever behind, you immediately eliminate that "boredom" factor because you can no longer afford to just hold two buttons and fly to a location unopposed. With a regular car you need to be mindful of how well you drive it and of the opposing traffic, and may even end up pulling some nice stunts along the way. Besides, not actively trying to be the most effective and min/maxing everything gets rid of a lot of frustration too.

I'd even say that the dialogue with Ms. Baker on the phone even alludes that you should be doing these missions this way.

However, I can speak like this because I've long stopped taking this game as a second job and am now just trying to have fun with it after very long and tiring days. I rather play it for the power-fantasy of being an unbeatable action movie hero with a nice car as a companion, something that I don't get to live in my day-to-day life. :)

The Gauntlet Classic is great; Rockstar do an amazing job of reproducing and implementing vehicles and It's yet another great addition for anyone who loves muscle cars and sports classics. I even like the crazy rear spoiler, and will consider storing it long term next to my Imponte Phoenix. The handling is a bit skittery because of the advanced handling attributes, but overall it's great.

One moan. Last night I won the Infernus Classic on the wheel (second win for me) so took it to the mod shop to evaluate its worth after mods. If you try to sell it straight off the bat, you get "cannot sell this car because it's not worth $50,000"! I then added stacks of upgrades to make sure that the price of sellable parts far exceeded $50k. I then tried to sell the car again and I still got the "this car is not worth $50,000" message, so be warned! The car you win on the wheel is worth NOTHING and will continue to be worth NOTHING even after spending 500k+ on mods. If all you want is the car and don't mind sinking upgrades into it that aren't worth anything in return, go for it, but if you already have an Infernus Classic (or wheel-won car) be wary of losing stacks of cash/assets.

Ha-ha, yeah. My only real complaint content-wise is the garage is a little smaller than hoped, lol. Could have had better bug fixes of course, but from a content POV, I'm pleased so far. It's very casual compared which I like.

I think I'm gonna go 'racer/aggressive looking' with my Gauntlet Classic. I'd like a stock one but am pressed for room, plus the Arena dripfeed gave me plenty of nice, smarter and more classical looking muscle cars, and this one is a great drive fully loaded to so imma make mine a mean looking bitch. :)

Might seem daft, but Last Action Hero came to mind reading that, lol. I can just imagine you lighting up a cigar from some dynamite and chucking it behind you and not giving a hoot as we see a cool explosion in the distance. 🤣🤣

Just waiting for the e-cigs to turn up, lol.

On a side note, I've 93 (I think) resupplies left and took a break. The worst is done and I could do those needed in a week/weekend comfortably so just gonna enjoy this ride for now as it's so freeing. But I do plan to get my tattoo a bit later in the year. :)

Doing well on the chips there, Hugh! Don't worry about the lighting, it's the same for everyone in the dingy casino garage. The centre slots are bit better though because the car is turned at a slight angle for showing off, I think.

I won the Infernus and Cheetah, already own both. I wonder if it’s financially worth selling the original fully modded vehicles and then keep/upgrade the Lucky Wheel ones.

It's not worth upgrading the vehicles you win on the wheel because the mods that you buy have no resell value. It's a con. The car is literally worth NOTHING. Normally, you would spend 50k on turbo, for example, which adds 25k to the resell value, but after all these mods, the car is still worth NOTHING and cannot be sold. The wheel-won cars are for noobs who don't know any better: a car that you can never sell but still allows you to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into it.

I understood you the first time. But if I sell the ORIGINALS and keep the lucky wheel ones/upgrade them, wouldn’t that be a net profit? I’m not keeping two sets of Inferni/Cheetahs so might as well sell the ones with resale value.

I guess. I have a Stinger GT (from way back) that I can't sell at all, and the only way of getting rid of it would be to destroy it. You have to make a decision, that's all, unless you want to keep both!

It's pretty bad when a modded truck can still magically beat all of these muscle cars with double the hp than the truck.

It's a race truck that participates in a lot of autocross events. This is a challenger on skinnly little tires.

And a black leather jacket. 😜

I can't drive a muscle car without wearing one, I just can't lol.

Maybe I should try a varsity jacket next time. 🤔
