When starting the game, the "first" is automatic after the Introduction Cut-Scene. Riding the bicycle home when the coppers dump Carl in an alley. The GREAT THING about this game is you do not Have to do it, I go off (on the bicycle) to start other Sub-missions. namely the Fire-Fighting submission to make some money to buy a Safe House prior to starting the real game. Collecting the Gang Tags, and exploring for body armour, and weapons. There is a small GPS map (circle) in the lower left corner that helps without the need to open the big map.
