Error 0x500000006?

Still struggling with this problem almost a month later. Does anyone know a solution to this? I feel like I've tried everything at this point, even bought a new router.

Don't think it's anything on your end, so nothing you can do. I get the error every so often, but this is the only game I get it from so must be some issue with the game.

It's persistent for me, never goes away. I've tried tinkering with ports and it worked for around 10 minutes and then the error reappeared again. Same problem with GTAO, can't connect no matter what. R* support probably don't know what's causing the issue themselves, they couldn't help me so they just stopped replying

Not surprising. But I think it happens to all of us at varying frequencies. Really started happening to me about 3 weeks ago, at least twice per week.

If anyone is still facing this issue, I suggest you ask your ISP to assign you an external (real) IP. It's going to cost you, but it's one of the very few ways to fix the issue permanently. From what I've learned my IP somehow got blacklisted so I had to change it.
