lol232
I loved this about GTA IV. I wonder if each mission was scripted to have a different one or whether it would randomize certain ones. It definitely added to the atmosphere. What was the meaning of each one? My interpretation for me is: Short version: Most missions, the very basic ones Slightly longer version: Easy missions or simple tasks like checking email, going online, hanging out with friends and whatnot Long version: After difficult and long ass missions or revelations being unveiled Sad version 1: Something slightly tragic happened or went unplanned Sad version 2: Something very tragic or sad happened billiejoearmstrong8, -Gaming4Life-, gooeyhole and 2 others
billiejoearmstrong8
I think it was scripted for sure, they seem to always match the tone of the mission. My favourite is "Sad Version 1", I always think of it as the "mysterious" one haha. I agree with your assessments of them. Yet another example of amazing attention to detail in IV Edit: Hey I think there's actually even more! In fact it's the second one here that I think of as the mysterious one Edited August 2, 2019 by billiejoearmstrong8 Copcaller

Jeansowaty
Many of them are left unused, which is a pity. My favorite is the one after A Dish Served Cold iiCriminnaaL and Ivan1997GTA
