bjoe1181
I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their controllers while playing vice city. I have to Sony controllers, both don't work right when on foot. I can't do first person views, and it seems to have it stuck with him looking backwards. And when i move him its all inverted and he pretty much spins around. Both controllers are now doing this to me and i can't figure out why. I've changed the controller settings in the game to the 4 different ones, and it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know how to fix this, i'm dying here! @brams
maybe your controllers are broken or something?
bjoe1181
Both of them? I find that very unlikely. The one that came with the PS2 worked fine, and i bought a blue sony controller that didn't work, now both don't. But when i get in a car, the controls are fine. And its not from over use i only just bought my PS2 3 weeks ago, so i'm at a loss.
@brams
maybe its a bug? try to restart the game......
bjoe1181
I've restarted plenty of times. It did it from the first time i put the game in too, for one of my controlers, so i know it wasn't the memory card. I have no idea what it is! help
@brams
erm...try to start new game and see if it will be same... by the way didi you used any cheats?
bjoe1181
Even if i start a new game it still does the same thing. And i haven't used any cheats either. Actually when i first bought the game and put it in, one conrtoller was messed up right from the start. Its also the only game that is messed up. I'm just trying to figure out what the hell's wrong, cause i don't think its my controllers, maybe its the game. I dunno...
itsjake88
Maby ur controller slot is f*cked up. I dont own a PS2, but you might be able to install a new port. Any good system should let you upgrade. And sony said PS2 was good, unless they lied.

sensory
it's the game, not your ps2, especially seeing as your controllers work just fine with the other games. the controller ports don't just break overnight.. so i'd take the game back and demand a new one. Samoth
In the controls menu you can choose "Invert first person: YES/NO" - It's on YES at default. Maybe that wasn't the problem. I don't know. Didn't read all the posts.
