The problem with wanting to play a John Ruth is that it is entirely dependent on someone else wanting to play Daisy Domergue.  You are right - it will never happen.  Except for the racist cursing.

I meant more of a "The Hangman" style roleplay, where players choose to take all bounties in alive. 

 

But as we've both said, taking in player bounties alive will never happen.

In Tumbleweed, both the Gunsmith and Butcher said to me 'hope you've done some thinking after spending that time in a jail cell' or along those lines.

 

Never heard that before... and I've been very good for a long time, no wanted levels etc.

First thing that happened to our characters was being busted out of jail, or a prison transport. Maybe it's that he's refering to?

Possible, it's just it's the FIRST time I've heard both characters mention this. And I play in the area, a lot.

 

Could also be because R* are messing with stuff in the background.

That, or I uninstall, lol. It's all on this DLC now.

 

And as said by others, anyone showing up to target me is gonna be disappointed, lol. I'll be a real sh*t with it too and wait until you get close to thinking you'll get that bounty, and promptly kill that dead right at the last minute.

 

I'm not here for PvP and until R* grow up, I'll play like a kid and further help good gaming suffer so I can play my way out there freely.

probably right about R*  shadow fixing/adding stuff. cannot recall exactly what was said, the where and who I cannot edcall neither...BUT, I swear I heard a new line of dialogue aswell. in strawberry? at the post office?

Yet this is how all of those "insiders" make a name for themselves... along with staring at the scripts all day long.

 

My biggest fears and questions for this update is that there will be inherent problems due to the way Rockstar likes to force interactions between players (and is not gonna shy away from anytime soon)

 

For bounty hunters:

-How often will another player be targeted?

-What is the threshold for deciding how high a bounty is that a player BH can go after them?

-Will it work similar to Marked for Assassination?

-Will these be unique to a single BH or will all in the area be alerted and have to be the one to come out with the poor sap?

-Will NPC bounties also be a free for all?

 

Trader:

-Will the animals be actually worth a damn?

-How much will the spawn rate increase? Especially for the more rare animals (Have only seen a moose twice since launch)

-Could we see (eventually) the ability to craft special clothing items for ourselves or even to sell/gift to other players/friends?

-This dog that warns about camp attacks... will this be a new thing unique to the Collector? What happens if you are nowhere near camp or fast travel?

 

Collector:

-Will the items be a mad dash to get it first? Or will it work similar to the treasure maps we currently see every 5 levels?

 

These are just the concerns that stick out the most... I am sure there are more that I could toss up. I am optimistic for the update but also concerned.
