Technically yes, but lets be real here for most people their "summer" ended between last week and i guess this week.

 

Rockstar probably planned on releasing the update weeks ago, but have 100% been having problems implementing the new features into the game.

Honestly they can be what they want, people can say "They don't owe you nothing (not really true)" or whatever... but, I'm not a marketing engineer or something but I think that at this point people expect something and so they have to say something.

I can't ever remember there being an interim period between weekly events, usually the discounts/bonuses from one week end and the new selection replaces them without a period of nothing in between.

It's gone for me. Everything is gone... even the message on the menu where it said it would run until September 2nd.

Well this is also true, but this is a fragile situation, they can't just launch an event without explaining or announcing it I guess.

The message is gone, but the bonusses and limited stock items are still there.

Okay, this is pretty close, maybe they're preparing everything?
I mean, for me all this feels very rushed. They're late with everything since they delayed the update.
