I am chill. I, like many people, don't appreciate being told one thing and then another thing happening. If I am told a date I expect something to change on that date.

I’d say that since we’re lacking a tunables update right now is a good sign so far that we might see the DLC drop today.

And where did they say what day that the summer update would drop?  Nowhere.  They said summer.  Could be today, the 10th, or 17th.

They never said it was going to come out on September 2nd! The 2 week bonus ends on September 2nd, doesn't mean that the update was going to come today! We'll most likely get another bonus week or two

So, here we are again, like 2 weeks ago, waiting for at least SOMETHING from Rockstar's end. Not a word in the past weeks, which were the coming weeks since their last news on RDO.

The only reason GTAO has managed to survive with this different communities is MTU, Port blocking and private sessions.... All of which do not exist in RDRO.

 

I haven't played with another human being in GTAO since Doomsday Heists, and prior that, the last time I played with a human was the week of PC launch, prior that, X360 launch.

I've dropped something like $1.3k on GTA V for the game and shark cards and I can guarantee you, I wouldn't have spent that if I was forced into a lobby with halfwits looking for a giggle by being disruptive.

Meanwhile one of my other favorite games is World of Warships and all I play is PvP there. Because it is relatively balanced and rewards skill and knowledge of the game mechanics.

RDRO in comparison.... yeah auto-aim, ability card crap, laggy af and someone getting a cheap kill on me as I walk away from a butcher.....so amazing.... 

I think it's still alive today thanks to players like you spending a crazy amount in shark cards (1.3k really ?). You haven't played with another human since the doomsday update ? Well that's sad and that's on you. There's a ton of people ready to help if you care to find them.

I always thought the tunabowls change mid àfternoon UK anyway. Usually between 2pm and 4pm. (Currently 1:23pm here for non UK folk, lol).

 

GTA around 9am-11am for me, depending on daylight saving pap.

 

Just feels it gets earlier each week where folk are saying they are late and it's always been afternoon here is all. 🤣✌

I swear, people do it just annoy me...

 

And the funny thing is if I went into a major sarcastic mode that broke it down into extremely simple English I would be the one who got in trouble so lets leave it at this.

R* said the two weeks of Bonuses end on the 2nd, it is now the 3rd so if the bonuses dont change today then they didnt end on the 2nd meaning their post was a lie. Now drop it.

I 100% believe this too. Absolutely key, IMHO.

 

We have so much in GTA, officially and unofficially that, whatever your playstyle, you can thrive playing your game how you want freely. Alone, together, in peace, or take the world on. :)

the 2nd of september doesn't end the same time for everyone. up until some 40+ minutes ago, it was still the 2nd in certain parts of the world. my guess is that it ticks over to the time that their systemss update internally.

no need to get bent out of shape over semantics.

What was a lie?  Where did they lie?  And yes I realize things are planned months in advance.  You think other people think that DLCs grow on trees?  🙄  The summer update was first announced in May when the last DLC released.  So yeah, months ahead.  The current bonuses and specials ended on September 2nd. Nowhere did they say that the summer update would drop right after that but I’m hoping today’s the day.

Oh man they are pulling the same sh*t as they did 2 weeks ago. Don't get your hopes up. Tunables will be updated in 4-5 hours with a newswire in 7-8 hours. Probably returning clothing and some bonuses. See you September 17th.

The same thing happened two weeks ago!! the tunables were late to update!  Their post wasn't a lie.  learn to be patient, it's just a video game!

They did say we were getting more info in the weeks ahead tho, nothing so far...😭😭

I know it was another post but they did "lie" at some point 😂😭

Because they said “in the weeks ahead?”  That means the future, and while it may be vague, it’s not a lie.  A lie is “the dlc will release on september 3rd” and then not delivering on it until later.  Ever since Rockstar messed up with the GTAO Heists announcement that was “coming in 2014” but didn’t arrive until March of 2015 is the reason why they don’t set a specific date until it’s approved by Sony and Microsoft.  Look at RDR2.  First it was arriving in the “Fall of 2017”, then it was delayed until “spring 2018” and then we finally got a confirmed date of October 26, 2018.  Delayed an entire year technically but never given a release date until they were absolutely sure.
