That was a mouthful... So does anyone know how to decompile the YMTs marked as undecompilable by everyone ever?


I want to make peds burn for longer, and slow down the charing effect. Is this so wrong?            Chnaks

Sorry for the late reply, good weekend. I belive it is called pedvfx.ymt inside of the update rpf, then either common or straight data x64 / effects. I can't check now I'm not at my PC.

@OpenIV Team Guys I am still stuggling every day to achieve this visual effect I'm after for machinima. Please can you tell me how to edit vfxpedinfo.ymt inside of "update\update.rpf\x64\data\effects\vfxpedinfo.ymt"


Any help appreciated, thanks

@OpenIV Team Are there plans to support editing of the scripts inside of tune? These are basic gameplay modifiers that would unlock so many opportunities for modding. Such as better noteriety tuning, player vehicle "slide out", "crash" and "BurnTodeathinCar" seem very intersting to all of us modders. We have achieved things like engine blowouts, added particle effects using empty slots R* left over, but still half a decade since the game comes out for us to all make it so much better, you still haven't made the tuneable, basic, out of hidden code for a reason, gameplay mechanics scripts. Please, update us!
