I understand why it changed (wrt the cars on the wheel). But I haven't won the car last week, since I thought the Thrax would be on display for quite a few more weeks, and I turned the wheel the legit way (perhaps stupid move, but ok). All I ended up getting is RP, a worthless clothing item and a full ammo stock on my Combat MG as a mystery gift (that really pissed me off tbh). 

 

So now I ain't buying that Thrax either. I'm kinda annoyed about the whole thing really.. Annoyed to the point where I decided not to buy any of the new cars above 1M until

the point where they go on discount... I worked too hard for my millions and I'm a lil fed up with how they set everything up so you drain your account in the matter of weeks, if you're not careful… Something definitely has changed in my mind.

 

Also contemplating not using the wheel anymore.. No need for those cars, as I already own all of them. With how my luck played out in the Casino, I'll most definitely 'win' the car this week...

Were something found in the files that the newest car would be the podium car each week? If not, I'm not sure where people got the idea that R* would give away the newest car to a lot of people..  I knew there would be exploits about this very fast, I'm sure R* also knew it and also a lot of other people knew it so why people seemed surprised is surprising imo

 

Neo seems to pick up relatively good speed in the city streets so might be good on some R* created stunt races but haven't tested it yet

If I recall correctly, Fun did find a list of vehicles that would end up on the podium. The only new vehicles from this update that make it are the Thrax and the Gauntlet Classic.

Neo is OK but not a winner.

 

But holy f*ck the S80 is a beast on Stunt Races. Set a new PB on Vespucci on lap 1.

Itali GTO also picks some very good speed from city streets, and it's far better cornering. It's still top tier on stunt tracks that have more tubes than straight and flat surfaces. I reckon the Neo would probably be on its pace though, if it had better traction.

 

The Turismo Classic on the lucky wheel is actually not a bad deal, it's a top tier sports classic, and a pretty one too. If I do win it I'll sell the one I've bought long ago and replace it with the prize car  Profit

Uhhh what? unless you had a poor laptime before (not trying to be a hater or anything) that makes 0 sense, i gave up on the S80RR after just 2 races, the thing is bscly a worse version of a Thrax?? and even with catchup off you can hear it never even maxes out? So far the Vagner and D8 still tie for first place imo, Thrax can keep up with them but barely, good handling can only do so much. (cant wait for those 2 new supers to drop so i can finally kick that D8 crap halfway across the map to some obscure garage and never look at it or use it again btw, my god do i hate the D8) Neo was downright disappointing, needs like twice the grip. I dont even mind that it bounces, i already got used to that with GTO, just stupid how it has worse grip then a D8/x80/etc, bscly need to come to a full stop for every corner, the hell.

I'm not exactly slow round a track, no. Maybe it just suits my style, maybe I never got a great lap in on Vespucci with the dvst8, what with all the overshooting. But the S80 has grip forever and a lovely little slow loose end action.

Also the Neo is a sports car. The cars you listed are like, top tier supercars.

It just dawned on me you play on console, that might explain the differences tbh, PC racing is all over the place since its mostly fps based, on PC S80RR is an empty shell of what it should've been, a Thrax beats it easily for example.

Well yea im in the top 1000 for most stunt tracks on PC, and for most tracks that are mostly just cheater times  (So i like to think im actually top100 on most tracks hehe)

GTO isnt a super, and im sure you are aware its (even after the nerf) faster then a D8? I guess i got my hopes up too far when i heard ppl say the Neo was like a new GTO.

I hate it too. Mainly for its looks but also because I NEED to own one to complete. And because of those reasons, I dont own one and haven't won a supercar race in months.

Don't think console matters that much in this case since my best lap time on Green Machine is over 10 seconds faster than yours and actually faster best times on downtown loop and canyon crossing iirc (ps4). 

I also beat my best time on Vespucci with around one second using the S80, only did three laps so should be able to improve even more. 

With the Neo I was around one second slower on in the city than I was with the pre nerf GTO
