Geralds missions

Hey guys need help. So I'm in online and cant call gerald on my phone missions are still locked and also completed tutorial but how much of the tutorial needs to be completed or what needs to be done to be able to call him on my cell phone for a mission?

I believe you have to be at a certain level to unlock contact missions, rank 6 iirc. What I did when starting a new character was do a bunch of races to get my rank to 6. Then look through the contact missions in the Jobs menu and started doing them from there.

I am lvl 71 and went back to do tutorial and also completed the methd up mission hoping to get a call from gerald after completion but my contact for gerald is still locked

If I were you I would not bother and instead do the quick jobs option where you are placed in a random job lobby. You make money, rank up, and rank isn't required to do them. Rank is only required to host jobs I believe so its not absolutely necessary. You access that through your phone. The button on the left I believe is the quick job option. After a few rank ups check back and complete what you could not finish before.

Still confused on it and still have not unlocked contact for gerald. I am lvl 72 and completed the tutorial and played more story mode still havent met gerald. Dont want to just play missions need to be able to call gerald in online games and it not be locked

Why? He provides nothing more than missions.

 

Try this: Pause - GTA Online - Jobs - Rockstar Created - Missions and search for one from Gerald.

op is probably trying to do that geralt mission invite otr exploit which allows you to buy casino clothing for money. or just kill other players. or do some further exploits..
