AP Grinding Method

Recommended Posts

jjk1029384756

Hey, first article... Let’s see who cares!  I’m JJK, a fairly legit player in online who needs help... grinding AP... I have completionist syndrome... so I want that 1000 AP Lvl. I’ve seen other articles on this website also explaining AP, and it looks impossible to grind to 1000. But I know of a couple of methods and would like to hear some responses on which, or help with. Obviously we have the wheel, but the math shows around a $300M in expenses from what I’ve seen. This would also take a lot of time, so I don’t know if it’s the best course of action. The second method is grinding legitimately. By that I mean playing round by round and hoping that I win each time. But from what I see, it looks as if it’ll take around a YEAR to grind. This is with an average of 1000 AP points per day, which means around 10 wins per day at the least. Of course this method is way too time-consuming, and I have other businesses run, and IRL things. The final method that I have figured out would be an AFK method. Of course though, I don’t care for glitching or exploits of this kind. Though this seems like the only way to get to 1000. I’ve made a pseudo-playlist in order to test to see if this is possible, but whenever I try to go AFK, I need to hit square in order to restart the playlist. But, if I rubberband my controller, this causes the square button do nothing. These really seem like the only courses of action that I can perform, and if anybody has any other ideas, or if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. My PSN is JJK1029384756, same as my forums account (But all caps), you can reach me there, or here. I hope to hear a response soon, thank you in advance.

NULL AND VOID

As far as I know there just is no way to do it. I just join matches and get knocked out as quickly as possible. If you get a drone/trap exit immediately. Sorry this isn't the most helpful information but anyone who has tried to grind to lvl 1000 will probably advice you against doing so. It's non sense! I'll add ya on psn for the heck of it though.

You can enter a Arena job, lag out of it, repeat. This brings you about 40 AP every time - and then you enter jobs, die early and can spin the wheel, while watching Netflix or so.

^ Yep. Lagging out (by triggering solo public session within the match) is a reliable way, all players quit and you left as a winner every time.  Can gain from 40 AP to 100 AP.

But it's important not to lag out too early (I usually quit after the counter ends), as you wouldn't get the AP.

I've reached to level 100 this way, could go higher, but just didn't bother at the moment

Yea there is just no good way to do this but there are a couple methods.

If you are on PC with the use of macros or mods should be fairly easy.

Console players have no such luck.

There is a way to get the wheel solo so you can just spin it endlessly and this method will take you about 4 months just to reach 500.

If you and a friend have more than 1 console you can do playlists for wins. This is a little more reliable than the wheel but just as tedious.

How do you do this method? I still think a playlist would be the most profitable, but I’d like to look @ all the options present.

Lagging out is getting disconnected from everyone else by either suspending the game process, disconnect a yellow wire in your LAN cable for 6 seconds, using a SessionSweeper, that commands your firewall to close and reopen, so you disconnect from everyone else but not get kicked to Story Mode.

This is also great to create empty lobbies to sell your production without getting griefed.

^ I'm suspending the game process (GTA5.exe) for 10 sec and I'm using my own app for this

However, you can use the Task Manager in the same manner, it's just not as comfortable.

The infinite wheel seems not to work anymore.

get a friend or a second system, make a playlist of 16, should last around 90 min or so depending on the ones u pick, if u make it to the restart option b4 it totally ends

We're at least 3 who would confirm this was patched after casino dlc

@dimon2010han was the first to notice it on August 1st

It looks like there's a even more efficient method to grind AP, if you're willing to pay money.

Second PC, second game. Start a playlist combined of Wreck It and Carnage, closed invite. Select bikes, when starting a job, jump and flip backwards to fall off the bike. Rinse and repeat.

You've probably asking, who in sane mind would grind for AP, in 2019?

Hm. Pegasus vehicle collectors? Not only me, but probably someone else wants to get their hands on that sweet, sweet Rusty Tractor.

Or something else.

It started with a idea of buying two additional PCs to start a really slow race for 25 laps.

With cars slowly turning in circles.

While the main character presses the E, F, R, RightMouse key to repeat the wheel rolls over and over.

That seemed a little bit selfish to me, since 3 additional players can grind up their AP while doing other things.

So... I could offer you the following: i and some other volunteer who yet has to appear (and grind AP later), will start a slooooow Arena Tour De Escargot, while a selected triumvirate player can idle at the wheel, grinding AP.

The next day, we change places and someone else grinds AP.

What do you think about that?

I was actually thinking of a similar idea.

I'm someone who plays on PS4 (I did say that in the original comment), but I was looking into buying a turbo controller to make it spam the square button for a couple of days with another player, in a playlist I made which would allow us to constantly replay the missions to grind AP. I personally would waste the money I earned until I get back down to the same amount I had before hand, but that's because I hate the idea of cheating, and AP grinding completely legit is f-ing impossible. It would literally take a year, and I'm not doing that, especially now that I have a job...

I was thinking about this idea for a while, I just need the other(s) "test subjects" to do it with me whenever we all set a certain time frame. While it would be slightly slower than your idea, (earning AP I mean) the AP earnings from what I have seen are very consistent to all players, as they would win/lose at an almost even pace. It would still take a long time.

I tried your previous bike flipping strat (I think I saw a YT vid do it beforehand) to test the previous paragraphs results. Even just idiling the AP difference is slight, but that'd require someone constantly pressing buttons at a specific time (a turbo could possibly work, but then that would mean the other player would need a turbo controller AND the AP cut would need to be changed halfway through)

Finnaly that rusty tractor man... oh we all want a slice of that sweet, sweet, tractor don't we?

What functions offers a turbo controller to a user? Can you program macros, as in, sequences of pressed buttons, that can be repeated infinitely?

Because there's a possibility to mount a PS4 controller in a rig, that presses the buttons with servos, controlled by a Arduino clone. It's about 25 bucks for the materials, together with the plywood for the rig.

Basically. I've found the traditional turbo controller on the market, which is basically a you hit a button, it does it infinitely, then the new one which I've been thinking about, which is a addition to your normal controller, you program it to do what you want, plug it in, it does its thing.

I also saw the piston rig before, but there are three issues with that,

1. PSI pressure could destroy a perfectly fine controller

2. I would need to dedicate a ton of time to buying the materials then rigging it up, and I feel the PSI canisters and piston would cost more than a turbo controller would with the time we would need for AP grinding

3. Like I said previously it would cost more to keep the rig going (mostly buying the PSI canisters, you buy 'em in bulk they can go up to $120 (boy scout pinewood races as a kid taught me that lesson...)) while AP grinding than to just buy a turbo controller which would probably be more beneficial in the future anyways.

PSI canister? Like the pneumatic, ton per square inch PSI canister?

Nah, i'm talking about those micro thingies that move rudders of RC planes. 12 bucks for 8 of them on Amazon. Anyway, i'm going to experiment with these, since i have some of them handy.

I am interested in grinding  AP on pc. it’s a crazy idea but it’s a step closer in getting the space docker someday.
