Grotti Vigilante
Go easy on them. They're still new and just full of questions. All I'd advise is to try and be a bit more scarce with them if it ever becomes a problem for the mods. But to answer the question, I don't think so personally. GTA is not as story-driven as Red Dead, so chances are there will be more effort into gameplay mechanics and stuff. Not even GTA IV was as story-driven as RDRII, but it was the perfect length for a GTA game. Around ninety missions with a compelling story. San Andreas had a less compelling story but more variety and fun in missions even if they were a bit over the top and unrealistic at times. The length was still enough to feel rewarding. But ultimately no, I don't think a 60-hour storyline will be the case with the next GTA. Around 30 to 45 seems to be the perfect length. GinsengElixir
Doubt it. I like big games, but with GTA I'd be ok with a 30hr story mode IF that were supplemented with alot of 'side' content amd of course free roam was deep.
Zello
For starters it needs to be longer than GTA V. Len Lfc and Thejeffster

I want the story to be as long as GTA IV with an incredible story telling and maybe combination of missions structures from GTA IV and GTA V. What I mean by the combination of mission structures from GTA IV and GTA V is I want them to make the storyline long and fun and not long and boring.. but I think rockstar will nail it pretty well because IV missions were fun, V missions were fun and I think VI will be a combination of mission structures from GTA IV and GTA V and make the game incredibly fun and the missions fun.. i just hope the storyline isn't like GTA SA.. and I want GTA VI to have a lot of shootout missions and planes missions and not driving sport cars and racing ppl missions because those are boring as heck(Fought the Law was really boring imo) Make the game have a lot of shooting people, helicopter fighting, flying a plane through a new plane, heist missions(but not a lot at least 2-3 heist missions at maximum), and plz I don't want no driving more than two miles missions just like in GTA V.. at least a mile maximum.., I also want the type of mission where you need to fly to a different location to pick up some stuff or drugs but you have to kill guards in order for you to pick up the stuff.. and plz I don't want gimmick missions and I want the game to have a background story with a lot of focus on our protagonist/protagonists.. GinsengElixir
Well it depends what you mean by storyline. Rdr2 can be beaten in 40hrs perhaps even less if you beeline the main story. If you want to do it all and take your time then god knows how long it'll take you. I thought that story was bloated and went on too long, but I spent 100s of hrs in game because I liked strolling around looking at the pretty view. So how long does a storyline actually need to be? GTA4 can be done in about 30hrs....so with this in mind, the actual storyline can be told in that time, but the game would have a ton of optional stuff plus rp possibilities. GrudgefromSanAndreas
hopefully they put 96 story missions because it's the opposite of
Secura
The longer the better, we only get a Rockstar game every few years, so the game should hopefully be their longest yet.
