what do you do when you get bored in the freemode?

If you have a friend, i would highly recommend getting an insurgent gunner and just go around blasting people or griefers in particular if you want.

 

Sure you could slap them in a jet or oppressor or deluxo but thats just boring, I could easily kill entire lobbies constantly with just a jet but its too bloody boring and unless they are good with the explosive sniper, its unlikely they will kill.

 

I wish there were more vehicles like the insurgent gunner, i was thinking of getting the apc but thats weak af

I grab a truck and trailer from Paleto or the Docks. If the trailer has a company on it, like Cluckin Bells, I will make a "delivery" to their factory or stores.

I like to have shootouts with cops in different places. Find a place that looks defensible and see how well I do. Last time I parked my mobile operations center at the North end of the tunnel the East coast highway goes through. I wanted to see if the cops could get to me inside the tunnel. They had some trouble, it sounded like they were frequently being hit because of the traffic jam, but they soon started coming in from the other side of the guardrail on the left. I had nowhere to hide in the tunnel itself, but they were coming in only a few at a time. Did you know that cars will spawn in the tunnel even when it's blocked off? Bad news for me when the game decided to move my MOC and a sheriff car spawned. I stole it and tried to make a getaway, but by then I was too low on health and was shot to death. I wish the cops in this game were smarter but it's still fun.

If alone, I'll usually log off and jump to another game, but if I stick around then I'll go OnCall for Heists or Stunt Races.

 

If with friends and none of them has anything to do? We usually just mess with each other. Up n Atomizer duels, impromptu races, freeroam stunting, etc. On rare occasion we'll try to clear the session or take up arms against griefers/tryhards.

Lately my hobby has been stalking randoms in my now permanently un-passive Savage and then cluelessly getting attacked by virtually everyone in the lobby. Apparently I'm the only person who doesn't use ghost all the time or something idk lol. I don't see how anyone can get bored playing this game on line. Frustrated and pissed off maybe, but if you're bored you're not trying hard enough.

Take a loose driving car and hit the twisty mountain roads north of LS. Alternatively take a rally car and hit the dirt roads. If that fails it means it's time to call it a night.

And? Turning off the game amuses me. I was just answering the question that was asked. I get bored, I turn the game off. 

 

Lots of things mentioned in this thread are how I play the game anyways. Very rare that I get bored. This is the only game I play.

getting bored is usually when i start winding down by farming sandkings or sentinels (depending where i am in the city). I typically get off right after that

The bank by the Chinese theater is fun. You can go to the second floor at the end of the hallway by the offices to bottleneck the cops. The hard part is getting out because you're surrounded.

 

That's also a good spot to hide from bounty hunters.

3. Search map for warring tryhards (the fact you actually need to SEARCH for people as the minimap is useless, is quite fun)

4. Run them over like bowling pins / detonate sticky placed before RC glitch

I usually drive around in my car until an unsuspecting NPC inevitably crashes into me - then I follow them and shoot out their tires, one at a time.

 

Watching their cars skid while trying to run away is hilarious!
