Deleting the character: will you get the *mailed* Rockstar/PS4 gifts (like tonics, 3 treasure maps, the Twitch Prime sniper rifle etc) again on a new character?

Hello there,

My question is summed up in the title. I hope anyone can answer this based on experience and not assumptions - my own assumptions is that no, those things won't be sent out again on the re-made character, because it would make it possible to re-grind the 3 treasure maps for relatively easy quick ~3-4 gold bars and ~300-400$.

But the issue is, if I want to re-make my character for whatever reasons I have, it feels a bit sh*tty that I won't receive some of those gifts again.

I'm not sure what gifts are you talking about. When did we get these? I suppose it's a choice you have to make. You've already go the cash for the treasure maps so you wouldn't lose that. All you would lose is the tonics (not a big deal) and the sniper (probably not a big deal either).

i deleted my lvl 101 last week, sadly all the items you've been gifted,won't be sent out again. then again,it's not like their good or special. so do so at your own discretion.

Your assumption is correct, but not for what you listed. All that stuff is "account" related, not character. Whatever you have now or have gotten will be lost and you won't get it again.

If you have a special edition and pre purchase stuff, that's available to the new character and your current money and gold is transfered but everything else is lost. All unlocks and gifts etc.

Did you really hate your character's appearance that much? Are you a lot happier with the new one? I deleted mine and created a new one but was only rank 14. Don't think I could have done that at rank 101.

the character was ok,had him since day 1 of beta, but in cutscenes he was crosseyed, and his cheeks were all kinds of messed up,now i'm set, i got pretty close to how arthur looks, except i made him older, around 44. so now i can play around, looking like a good boah,without having to listen to strauss,no micah :P
