What from GTAO, would you like to bring over to RDO?

Some kind of mugger-for-hire, but (for plausibility reasons) only available in towns with telephones.

Yes! A thousand times yes. Way overdue; especially as a mechanic helpful in losing wanted levels.

I would like to see location-limited, primitive and unarmed (emphasis on both of those) forms of air travel such as gliders, hot air balloons, and parachutes. Would make air travel not only fun, but risky. :)

Re: Parachutes: "The modern parachute was invented in the late 18th century by Louis-Sébastien Lenormand in France, who made the first recorded public jump in 1783." [Wikipedia]

Being able to lie down on your own damn bed. What's up with kneeling as resting?!

Rockstar's care and attention they devote to the game and the player base.

Funny. I'd leave that player base right where it is.

UNO REVERSE CARD!

I want to see the weapon system from RDR/O brought to GTA. Two small sidearms and two long/heavy weapons visible on the back.

The rest are stored in your vehicles trunk. Motorbikes being small and nimble have no storage, Super cars being fast have little storage etc

Set up your stored weapons at any garage.

The bounty system...I have collected thousands of player bounties in GTAO.  Its impossible to collect a player bouny in RDO.  I would be surprised if anyone has done 5 legitimately.  If friends have let each other do it once just to test, fine, 99 more times, this to me is more sad and pathetic than modding someone else's game.  No one cares if I have this buckle, but I like the idea of completeing a difficult challenge.

This entire system needs to be reworked.  Its literally the most backwards b.s. in the game.  Yet several belt buckles are tied to it.  GTAO player bounty were fun.  They should have used them as a passive mode fix.  But even passive mode in GTA is fixed.

Actual passive mode, not this substandard version we've got.

Private lobbies.

That pretty much covers it.

The entire player Bounty system needs reworking. There is literally no penalty to mass murdering NPC or continuously harassing other players because you get "fined" literal pennies. They need to bring the SP Bounty charges over where its fifteen dollars for a murder etc.

People can't complain because it's a choice, its not like the Hospital fees that GTAO had at the beginning. It's a literal conscious choice to be a fecking dick, you wanna live like a rootin' tooin murderin' Outlaw then be banned from all towns and cities until you pay off your Bounties and be shunned to the fringes of society to live off the land. Places like Van Horn and Thieves Landing would still accept you but civilised places would not.

Difficult missions with high reward. There is nothing I love more in GTAO than doing the Doomsday heist on hard with a friend. Just the two of us and enemies who kill in three seconds. One of us goes down and our progress goes poof. We keep telling each other to keep playing every time we fail. Every checkpoint we reach is satisfying. Every act we complete is pure bliss. I really want to experience that again with Red Dead Online. The legendary bounties are a step in the right direction, but the payout is still a bit too small.

Yes, and after playing all of the moonshine story missions on ruthless I'd like to be able to play all the other story missions with the same difficulty.

A safe house to spawn in, with wardrobe and a bath. When exiting the safe house, which could be a shack or hotel room, get the option to leave safe house or leave safe house to camp/moonshine shack.

Player blips for friends, a proper expanded minimap and player names on that minimap.

Seconded this. As it stands, it's kinda inconvenient to ask randoms to join your posse for sale missions without text chat. A lot of people just assume that you are inviting them for no reason and never accept. If I can tell people that I am giving them a chance to make an easy 300, a lot more will join.

It would be nice to see what the invite entails: trader sale, shine mission, bounty hunt, etc.

The game says 'hit F1 for details'...you hit F1 and you've joined the posse, no details, no option to decline if it's for something you don't like doing, no idea what it's for until you get there.

Then people get mad when you leave their posse.

More information would be better, the player should have the option to at least place a heading for their posse invites to let others know what their basic plan is.

I might get rotten tomatoes thrown at me for saying this, but I would love to see some kind of proximity mine equivalent (e.g. wire-rigged dynamite trap).

Basically just a means for nailing either a lawman or a griefing player following you in narrow alleyways.

Agreed.

Ok R* here's an idea so the game still is realistic enough for your standard. A messenger pigeon animation whenever we wanna send someone a message. And the person on the receiving end sees a pigeon landing nearby and can pick it up and read the message just like the animations when we read letters or treaure maps.

Would be the most plausible way--already have the birds in the game. Just have them appear on your shoulder (or something like that) and a notification that you've received a message.

Just hope R* leaves out the bird poop. lol

How about driveable boats. (not canoes or rowboats)

I see 'em on the river all the time.

Maybe a new role transporting shine, or perhaps guns, sneaking past customs patrols.

Also, how about things like bear traps? For PVE and PVP.

As long as we can ignore them / shoot the messenger (bird)
