Haven't done all the casino missions.  Have a penthouse and vip membership though

They only advance if you play as host.

 

Or if you play all as non-host you can then access them via Online - Jobs - Rockstar Created - Missions.

None of them are in there.

I had the VIP missions confused with contact missions.  How many of the Abatha contact missions are there?  And are the VIP missions randomized?

yes they are random and there are quite few types of missions.

 

pick up high roller

escort armored truck

rescue and deliver armored truck

hunt down 5 gamblers

recover money stolen by a ex-employee

get slot machines from the docks

intimidate a judge

kill reporter

stop a heist crew

There's a thread about them here. Officially called "Casino work", you have to call Agatha, and you're given a random mission. I've listed the ones I've got so far:
