Trim color option MISSING for new Casino DLC cars

There is a missing option "Trim Color" for the new cars such as Paragon or Thrax.These cars use paintable interior but we cannot paint it since there is a missing button for it in the LSC, so we are stuck with a black color.

Here are 2 pictures:
- One from the LSC showing only 2 color options
- Second I'm using a trainer to change the trim color

(Trainer is not a mod, I'm only doing something that is already in the game)
(There is a Trim color option that we can't access, I believe R* forgot to make an option for it in the LSC)

This is sort of well known already. You technically can paint their interiors, just not through legitimate means. I.e. glitching if you're on console or modding if on pc. I agree it should be a regular option, but there's about a dozen other cars with hidden interior trim color options so I wouldn't hold my breath on rockstar doing anything about it.

Wow... I didn't know it till now... This is a waste of a cool option, that is already in there, but we can't use it for some reason.

You can paint the interior by using the rc bandito benny's merge. The paragon looks super clean with a colored interior

You can use a script to make the game think it is a Revolter for example to have the ability to paint the interior. That's how I painted my Paragon R/Armored, Drafter and Thrax their interior. But I can't say it here to avoid a warning.

I just did the merge and the Drafter is getting all mods that were expected except the interior color trim.

PS4, yes I did the RC merge using the contact mission in.

 

I did this same yesterday and got my unique Coke spec Torero and some other cars, and today it worked to get the mods except the interior trim.

 

I think this might be being patched as of right now.

Exactly my concerns. The merge is not forever and been there when the Ardent and Torero were the only cars with the missing trim option and the merge was patched after a few weeks. Very lazy and antifun.

Yeah its annoying. Luckily this past week I went ahead and used the RC Merge glitch to change the interior on every car I own with that hidden ability. Even the Ellie and Torero.

 

It's a shame we have to do that but I'm greatful for people around to find such methods. I just hope they're still around for the Neo, Zion Classic and Gauntlet Classic because those won't have the option in LSC either according to videos.

Does the merge glitch keep the merged mods forever or do they revert back if you close the game or find a new session? I don't recall where, but a while back while thinking about doing such a thing I ended up with the impression that the mods would go away and were only there for the session you did the glitch in.

Forever ... As long as you don't merge it again with another vehicle (like Merryweather Mesa cage) or change it yourself (like wheels and colors).

It's not hidden at all. It's just R* being extremely lazy. How the f*ck can they f*ck this one up with 4 cars having all their trim options missing??? You know what's funny? Test those cars with that missing option in Benny's garage in SP and the trim/interior painting will appear. Take it to LSC and it's not there.

And the worst, the merge glitches can be patched so you'll never be able to paint them again. And merge glitches gets tedious depending on the requirenments and steps.

 

You can also paint the Swift Deluxe in not so "legit" way.

This is not a lazyness, this is a mistake. I think one of R* employee who was inscribing cars into the game didn't take in account that most of those cars have a paintable interiors.

Could be. But in older dlc's only like 2 cars have the missing trim option, in this dlc almost all cars. Something is not right.

We really should let Rockstar know about this as best as we can, by sending tickets etc. It’s such bs how so many cars are supposed to have a colorable interior, yet the option doesn’t exist in LSC. For god’s sake, there’s even a new artwork in the update which shows a Torero with a pink interior, which is just false advertising. Imagine someone seeing it, buying the car and realizing the interior is just black with no option to change it.

 

I really hope they’ll fix it one day. I have so many vehicles, even from past updates such as the Neon that are supposed to have colorable interiors but for some reason they don’t. I’m not gonna drop 1.5 million on the RC just to be able to do something that should be possible in the first place. Ugh.

Thats it. We have Torrero with missing interior paint from Gunrunning, we have Nero from I/E wich has paintable engine, but not everyone knows about it etc. Anyway, i think we should let them know about these issues. Would be very greateful if someone well-english (not me ofc) submits a ticket with this situation described.

The Specter's interior being unable to be painted even when it shares the very same interior with the Specter Custom was a load of barnacles in the first place.

So, I've seen talk of the merge glitch being patched. I've only recently found out about it and I'd like to get the turbo bulge hood on the regular Faction and color various interiors. Do we still have a way to do this? I haven't seen a single write-up on how to do it, but I've come across several pre-casino videos and I assume methods have changed.

I've had to use methods in the past to paint older cars and was very happy when Rockstar seemingly stopped doing this mistake, only for this update to come out and have EVERY SINGLE CAR color broken. There is no excuse for this. They patch these merge glitches very quick now too. I've been up to support level 4 and back with tickets and all that resulted in was them locking the Torero engine cover forever. Don't hold you breath on them fixing it. Do merge glitches when you can.

I can paint the interior of my Issi Sport just fine; If I remember correctly it has a trim option.
