Indeed, one should always be careful when seeing a story through only one point of view, but the thing is that we already know how cutthroat is the studio for game developers, complaints like these aren't new.

I'd join, but that would mean entering a lobby where players are expecting me and aware of me as soon as I join.

An environment whose purpose and rules are designed from the get-go - a bunch of tryhards going at it - and where I'm giving other players the chance to kill me.

 

I don't play that way. I guess I'm more of a freeroam player.

I purposefully don't have a tryhard name or wear the typical clothing and certainly don't play on radar, when I can help it. (not to say others in this forum don't do this)

The average I-GOPASSIVE-I isn't expecting me, for instance.

The other thing is, it would need to be locked to rifles only or something. The amount of DMs I've joined where within the first 5 seconds its an RPG fest...

Okay, so I have checked the freemode script to see if there's any extra code that was added to disable the lock on.

There was none.

However, I found out R* changed the following camera for the Oppressor Mk2, I believe this is the problem that caused this bug.

I'm not sure why R* decided to do that, I would need someone on PC with Codewalker to confirm this if the tool can open up or extract "cameras.ymt"

If this is the case, then we would need to wait for a new title update to fix this.

So they pulled out an update to fix whatever thing was glitched with the casino or whatever one day after the update, but they can't roll out one for this which is way more gamebreaking?

 

I don't want to wait until freakin December for a chance of a fix.

Recently i've just had a sticky bomb at my feet and kept blowing myself up until they get distracted/bored and either tell a friend in party chat to chase them *I'm almost always in a lobby with atleast 2-4 friends*, it's hard to kill 1 person when you're being chased by 3+ griefers lol

I subjectively believe your playstyle is being a tryhard, since you can't handle loss you wanna EWO which is why I wish with all my f*cking heart dumbstar do some alterations with the EWO feature so people like you can stop ruining the game for others..

Thats three (Four?) times they have buffed it. Its funny that the Savage, the only somewhat reliable defence against the MkII, has been "fixed" while the MkII has been improved...again! Don't you dare tell me that this a "glitch" that managed to get through QA or that they cant fix it instantly. You notice how another Patch to fix the Casino game out within days? Has that ever happened before? Its quite convenient that something as potentially lucrative as the Casino gets a bonus Patch.

It's not exactly infinite, they only have 30 missiles and most people use them up within 30 seconds.

So you spin until they run out, then attack. But yeah, it shouldn't exist in it's current state. I'm still surprised they didn't do anything to balance it in the last update

Then they just dive off and super speed skydive to the ground and have another one/same one called before you can react. The Savage allowed you to pin them to the ground but now with the "fixed" hit box the Homing Launcher will rock your world.

You got to be fast and accurate in the jet, not miss on the first try, and so on.

I agree they should have left the Savage alone, at least as long as they didn't nerf the MkII.

It shouldn't be in the Mc Menu either, imo. Motorcycles have wheels to me.

I'd guess they had the choice of nerfing it (remove the missiles ffs, the guns are unique and awesome and require y'know some skill) or doing these passive mode changes and seeing how it looked, and went for the latter. But leaving it in the MC menu is a bit f*cking rich.

 

I despise the f*cking thing, Scramjet is perfect, Oppressor Mk1 is perfect, why f*cking bother.

Exactly. That would have been enough right there to fix the balance - revert the missiles to guns and take it out of the MC Menu

I wouldn't even get my hopes up for that anyway. They managed to miss about 3 different God mode glitches with the last patch notes - which were 7 months in the making. Not to mention all the other stuff they didn't fix, feedback they ignored, etc.

 

I have to say, all I can recommend is jet griefing the broomstick boys. Jets might not have the obnoxious spawning and all that, but they're still very griefy. At any rate, they're the only aircraft with a fair shot of dodging missiles (Hydra can dodge them all too). Free aim missiles are unlikely to hit if you do spiral away a little as well.

 

Oh well, no tears will be shed for them I guess. I'd rather helicopters are more viable (or even like, being on foot) - but these braindead people are pandered to by Rockstar, so we just have to grief them away and ruin things for them.

Yeah that's a tough one. Typically in a group of players it's just one that has them though, since they make it awkward buying them from each others MOCs etc. If it's just the one you can be careful and get them from steep angles where they can't hit you.

I keep the magic bullets next to my broomstick in the grind mobile. Best decision I made. Griefer counter measures and mission control all wrapped in a nice little beer delivery truck (w/ SAM site!).

But the bug also affects a handful of vehicles, including the Deluxo and the Night shark.

This will only conveniently boost sales of the MkII like the armour glitch boosted sales of the Apocalypse Sasquatch and R* knows this. Once the Youtubers start squawking  about this everyone will be buying one.

Yea I'm getting no lock at all... All in All though I have given up caring about people blowing me up on this thing. You aren't impressing anyone number 1. Number 2 your icon on the map looks like a rat. #3 you are literally everything wrong with grand theft auto. So with that being said I'm just glad I'm not one of those people.

Agreed. I stand on a high rooftop and shoot them for fun with the Ex sniper.

 

Stationary Kill - 5pts

Heading Towards / Heading Away Kill - 20pts

Poised to Rocket You Kill - 50pts

Lateral left to right / right to left Kill - 100pts (during boost - 200pts)

I use the laser with good success, try facing them head on and fire missiles then turn away and dodge theirs. If you face them perfectly your missiles will take a straight path right into them. Often they kill themselves if you lock then you got them on the ground which is what I want.

Tried my luck on the only good flying bike, the OG oppressor. Deluxo locked onto me in the air and that was that. Sad sigh.
