hi , i have read all the pages but sry my english isnt really good, its possible to play online after downgrade the Rockstar retail version? i think update will be again right ? but no solution for JUST blok the update and not all internet connection and play online with the 1.0.231.0 versions ?only we can prevent the update?

This is baffling. I don't know what Rockstar thinks they're achieving with this. As if we'll all go, "Oh, well, they changed the hashes, let's go mod something else." They could put their efforts into protecting Online while leaving single-player alone, but no, even after witnessing their game being modded within two weeks of launch, they still think they can stop all modding somehow. Because if they know they can't, then this is just a "f*ck you, here's a gratuitous update to these files just to piss you off."

 

Unless, of course, there is a legitimate technical reason for these specific changes, but judging from this thread so far, nobody seems to see one.

Not sure what it's called, may be custom. Pulled these from IDA. The script opCode _getHash() uses one of these. JOOAT is still used for vehicle hashes for handling I do believe.

 

 

EDIT: Amazingly enough, GetUnk() returns the same hash as GetHash2()

Well this is weird, after the update i put the old folders back in, then iv blocked all 4 gtav's in my firewall and the scripthook works fine in story now :D but i can also play online lol i thought i blocked it :S

Does anyone have a version of the NativeTrainer that has different controls? I'm using a tenkeyless keyboard so I don't have access to a numpad.

so STOP now questions the thx been already answered the same . Alexander is the 'll get it as in GTAIV . Please steers not too far off topic we are talking about the scripthook and native trainer, the best is to help Alexander what he has to do then everything will go faster .

Seems like they added some anti-cheat within the game with the last update. They added checks for injected DLLs and hashes and such.

I noticed that a guy posted the old patch (Old EXE and Updat.rpf) that fixed the problem.

So i did that. and the mods worked in SP, But. When i went into multiplier, They did not work.

Any reason why or on how to fix this?

Scripthook gets deactivated when going to GTA online. This is done on purpose. You can also find this information when reading the initial post. :)

I noticed every time i run GTA V it will automatically download the update even with 'GTAV.exe' 'GTAV Launcher' blocked from the internet. but when i blocked the 'PLAYGTAV.exe' from internet access as well, the update will stop and you can run the game in offline mode then your all good. as long as it workx it's fine by me! :colgate:

Well, basically this is the quickest/easiest way to try to stop the online hacking that's caused by fact that everything is p2p/client side and tied in so closely to single player. It's a lazy/cheap quick-fix for a lazy/cheap online mode.

Do you have the Steam version or the retail version (DVDs) installed? I'm asking because I have the retail version. I tried all that but the launcher won't even start here. I get an error message popping up, telling me steam_api64.dll could not be found. :-(

These "custom scripthook that stay enabled when going online" is the reason why Script hook is not working for everybody else. Tks!

Guys/Girls to play gta v on the last update just cancel this new update disconnect the internet and launch gta v it should boot straight into storymode with all your old mods working from the previous patch mine is working this way, if it still doesnt allow you to play just restart the pc keep the internet disconnected and launch gta v it should work as it works for me. The moment i seen the update i knew not to download it cause it'd remove everything and disable mods i prefer singleplayer anyways ;)

I didnt give myself money,Or kill friends.. i ONLY used it for speed boost.. (I can swear on my life.) [You can play with me and find out.] I dont use it for pure cheats.. i only used it to Make cars go fast (INVITE ONLY SESSIONS) So please dont get mad at me.

I Just miss my boost.. Thats it...

R* seriously just needs to let modding happen. Welcome to PC R*, you should know that modding is a big part of PC gaming. Pretty pathetic.

I agree to this but only if it doesn't affect GTA Online, god mode and unl ammo and people spawning UFO and ferris wheels or invisible walls to prevent access to LS Customs in Online and waiting for us near with unl RPG ammo isn't something that should be allowed.

Yeah, it's just another hash algorithm. Returns 64bit hash.

Retail box. and huh.. that's weird man, i didn't get that error. that dll might be missing. maybe load the disc and repair the game?

And a lot of internal stuff is not separate at all. Online and SP are both in the same executable.

But that error message only appears when I block with the firewall or cut the internet connection or modify the hosts file. I don't get it. *sigh*
