I was able to start with a fresh 'mods' folder and I modded just ONE car to see if the game would load and run properly and it seems it does so I'm very glad about that. Thus far I've loaded several modded cars I've been using all along and the game is still loading and working fine. I'm just disappointed I have to go through all this crap to get my game back to where it was all along. When you're disabled and can't go anywhere or do anything and the only 'fun' you can have is playing your favorite video game, you have no idea how devastating it is to suddenly find the ONE thing you can do longer works. The only way I can experience the world is through my computer, which is why I keep thanking everyone for their assistance. I'm grateful for everyone's idea's on what was wrong or what might be wrong with my game and it seems to be working fine now, and although I still have to load the remainder of my modified vehicles, I plan to do them one at a time and test the game after each one is installed.

 

Thanks again guys. I hope to learn more about this stuff so in time I can maybe help others who experience these problems for those who feel their world has come to a halt because their game stopped working. This may be just a video game to many but to me it's therapeutic to be able to have the kind of fun a game like this delivers. I'm in my mid 50's and GTA-5 is by far the most fun I've ever had playing any video game. Hope you all have a great Christmas :santa:

So i installed (dropped) all 3 files to gta5.exe location. After launching gta using GTAVLauncher.exe or PlayGTA5.exe and clicking f4 nothing happend. Launching from GTA5.exe gives me ERR_NO_LAUNCHER error and demands to run gta from PlayGTA.exe.

I installed ScriptHookVDotNet2.asi and still same issues.

I have win7 x64. GTA5.exe version: 1.0.944.2

hi guys..i have a problem, today i install a fresh copy of the game..original with rockstar downloader...i install scripthook but the integrated trainer don't work

I cannot get this to work. Deleting the mods folder has no effect. I don't want to reinstall the game entirely because I have poor internet and it won't handle a Steam re-download without waiting a week.

 

Anyone have a fix for this? The author has been dead silent, and everyone is reporting that they are struggling to get this to work.

He is silent because you are just one of many people who have problems. I can assure you the problem is not ScriptHookV but something you are doing (or not doing) on your end. It works just fine for the majority of people. My first point of advice would be to make sure you have the the correct MVS C++ redistributable installed.

Yep Script Hook doesn't work.. everything is correctly installed, but it won't load any scripts and doesn't even create a .txt for error checking.

 

EDIT: nvm.. i just found out that R* doesn't allow you to start the game from a different folder (copied the game for mods) and it always starts the game from the original folder thanks to regedit.

Everything worked perfectly with Windows 7. For some reason I decided to finally upgrade to 10 before it's too late to get it for free.

 

Not a good idea. The game keeps crashing randomly without mods. Testing mods in this environment isn't ideal to say the least.

Unloading mods with CTRL + R worked without any problems before but now it instantly crashes the game in Windows 10. I got an old computer so I tried a new one, with not only same results but worse.

 

Are everyone else having a smooth experience with Windows 10?

I did everything correctly but it just simply doesn't work at all.

Update it yourself, that game is so old. SH works fine on win 10 over here.

ScriptHook is dead. Still no update after 3 weeks for this broken mod.

Either the developers gave up on this or are just complete brain dead to notice that this mod simply doesn't wort at all.

Hello everyone.
1) I want to create a simple mission as a test:
if (PLAYER::CAN_PLAYER_START_MISSION(PLAYER::PLAYER_ID())) { GAMEPLAY::SET_MISSION_FLAG(true); ...}
But this does not change anything. Shouldn't the other symbols dissapear from the map?

2) There is a function:
Vehicle GET_VEHICLE_INDEX_FROM_ENTITY_INDEX(Entity entity)
But how can I reverse this, I have a vehicle and I want an entity, so I can add it to the mission.

A vehicle is an entity. You don't need this native at all. R* uses this to cast an entity to a vehicle but in reality it simply returns whatever is passed to it.

Ofcourse i don't have an outdated version.I don't even have a mods folder.

Why would you even make such a retarted assumption that anyone would be so stupid not to know that an outdated version is the cause for ScriptHook not to work?

Again, the developers either don't know that ScriptHook doesn't work at all on Windows 10 or just completely gave up on it.

My scripthook is not working:

1. My Scripthook V dll keeps on being deleted when I run the game. As in the instant moment that the game is launched from the launcher ( I saw this happen with my two monitors)

Is that supposed to do something visibly, because for me it looks like its not doing anything.

Or in other words, how do I start my own mission?

Hey Guys, i have a Problem with ScriptHookV.

 

I use ScriptHookV with Menyoo and everything worked, but in the latest Build of ScriptHookV is a Bug, that every vehicle that has come out with or after the Import/Export Update despawn after a few Seconds. Some of the old cars are despawning too after a few Seconds.

 

I tried it with the Native Trainer instead of Menyoo, but it did not work.

 

Please fix it or tell me how i can fix it.
