It was told for a dozen of times that you need to put new update.rpf in the mods folder every time new patch arrives .

yeah.. the solution for crashing during loading is to delete your update.rpf inside "mods>update" folder then copy new update.rpf from main folder to mods folder... So, if theres a car mod inside the old update.rpf you will need to redo or use extract and replace mode on openiv.. CMIIW.

...keeping track of your modded files is that hard?

put everything in a backup folder (check the files structure while you're at it), then when a new update arrives, move everything back to new update.rpf

Matching all hashes is semi-automatic and mostly manual work .

how to put a car mod inside update rpf ?

 

most cars are located at the update/x64 folder, also i dont know any cars that has the path "update-update.rpf" and so on.

maybe its caused by modded popgroups.ymt from xbox to get the spawning addon cars in traffic.

 

anyway. i have no crashes with nothing, but i did the game to stock before.

i will test the cars i used again now, but i think there wont be any issue.

 

btw i have made the expierience, that its not recommended if you mod the mpxmas - folder. that the one with the tampa.

i tried to modify the carcols.meta.

i wanted lower suspensions. the values are 5 10 15 and 20

i set them to 10 20 30 40 and game crashed in loading screen.

 

dont know what causes this, but i will not use this dlc folder to mod cars into.

i did all my addon cars in mphalloween, everything works, except the lowriders like the 64impala, whos in mplowrider for sure.

Theres an Issue with the Values for Modkits and lightsettings.

i startet from 900 and went up,

testet some cars with 1000 and up.

 

the game still did not find the lightsettings and the modkits, so you cant modify the cars except window tint and rims etc.

 

Anyone has some valid values to set ?

Hi everyone. I got the mod working but for some reason my controls barely work. The bracket keys on my keyboard is the option to get the menu up and for backup alls. everytimei select go on duty nothing happens. i cannot pull over arrest nor do anything. Does anyone know whats required to get the controls tow ork for me. i went and view the controls in my gta folders and its all set to f4 f5 and f6 yet they dont work when i press it. Please help

Let me re-ask my question, first of all I downloaded the native trainer for the very first time yesterday, I came here because this webpage:http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/ links directly to this forum and certainly you are right: I didn´t read the first post, but I have read the instructions that comes with the scripthook files, as you can see I thought that "Script hook closes the game when player goes Online, this is done because the game reports installed mods list to R* while being in Online mode." was something that started to happen since the last update, as I told you, I just downloaded the native trainer and yesterday I was thinking that It was something that always worked Online like other mods I have used. It is really funny because I´m seeing that you are here since 2011 and you haven´t learn in 4 years how to treat new members properly, I really hope that other users can help without saying insults just because someone is ignoring something. I apologize for any grammar mistakes, english isn´t my native languaje. I hope you have a nice day!

Would anyone know anything about fixing the keys. I was sure thsi mode allows you to pull over and arrest. I cant do anyting besides the two pop up menus which are the main menu to go on duty and then back up menu. and they are on the wrong keys. Can anyone direct me to what to do to fix this. Its really frustrating. Thank you
