SCRIPT HOOK V

 

Description
Script hook is the library that allows to use GTA V script native functions in custom *.asi plugins.

 

Installation
1. Copy ScriptHookV.dll to the game's main folder, i.e. where GTA5.exe is located.
2. In order to load asi plugins you need to have asi loader installed, you can download it separately or use the latest version that comes with this distrib (dinput8.dll / xinput1_4.dll for enhanced). You must delete previous asi loader (dsound.dll) before using new one.
3. This distrib also includes a sample asi plugin - native trainer, if you need the trainer then copy NativeTrainer.asi as well.

4. If you need to disable BattlEye copy args.txt, please note you won't be able to go Online if you have any mods installed.

Troubleshooting

 

 

 

- if you use 3dm then 3dm is the issue , this is it .

- if you have the crash on the loading screens make sure that you have the latest ScriptHookV version (v1.0.573.1) , also make sure that you are not loading multiplayer , if you are using OpenIV.asi then previous version of update.rpf in mods folder is the issue .

- if you have any other asi mods installed then delete them all and test again , if this is the issue then try to find out which of asi is causing this and write about it in this topic .

- make sure that you are launching your game from it's installation folder , not from the copied one because install path is referenced in registry .

- if you can't activate the trainer (i.e. F4 isn't working) check if you have asiloader.log and ScriptHookV.log in the game's dir , if you do then try FN + F4 , multimedia and notebook keyboards can cause this .

- if you can activate the trainer but you can't navigate in menu (numkeys do nothing) make sure that you have NUMLOCK ON , if you really do then probably you have Mouse Keys Windows feature activated , go to Desktop and press LEFT-ALT + LEFT-SHIFT + NUMLOCK to turn off mouse keys , now navigation should work .

- make sure that you have copied everything correctly , i.e. ScriptHookV.dll , dinput8.dll and NativeTrainer.asi are located in the same folder with GTA5.exe .

- if you have another issues which are not resolved after trying everything written above then you need to write about it in this topic describing:

1. what exactly isn't working

2. what Windows version do you have

3. what game version do you have (look into the GTA5.exe properties)

4. provide contents of your asiloader.log and ScriptHookV.log which should be located in the same dir as GTA5.exe

5. show the list of your installed software (listsoft.txt) , which can be generated using this bat file , probably you will need to upload it somewhere , you can use pastebin.com for this .

 

 

 

 

NATIVE TRAINER

 

 

 

Description
The trainer comes with ScriptHookV distrib and shows an example of what can be done using scripts.

Controls
F4 activate (if doesn't work check with FN key if your keyboard has it)
NUM2/8/4/6 navigate thru the menus and lists (numlock must be on)
NUM5 select
NUM0/BACKSPACE/F4 back
NUM9/3 use vehicle boost when active
NUM+ use vehicle rockets when active

to perform proper map marker teleportation

EDIT: I ask because I'm a lefty mouser and use numpad for movement binds and whatnot.

Please add the ability to change turbocharger pressure. And the ability to change between AWD, FWD, RWD.

Anyway to code this to shut off in the main gta Online enviroment but be allowed in private/invite only sessions?

 

My friend and i love to use the ingame editor to make movies, we film them in Gta Online but the trouble is its often difficult to set up the movie sets. If we could be allowed to use this in Invite only sessions it would make our lives so much more simplier and we wouldn't be angry at each other if we mess things up.
