I honestly think Laker is just a bit better than me at this tbh, and how he does it I do not know. I don't watch that many Prem games anyway, so it's fine. Anywhere top 3 is good for me.

Yep. He is pretty damn lucky I'd say. I mean rational predictions are one thing but they only get you so far. You're gonna need a bit of luck here and there as well.

Edited by TheSantader25

Definitely a lot of luck involved. I play fantasy football with friends which definitely helps me pay more attention to team stats, as I have to if I want to do well in a fantasy game. In the World Cup league I think I finished 3rd or 4th. I barely watch internationals as I usually find the qualifiers relatively boring with most teams having easy groups, whereas I watch multiple PL games weekly.

With everybody able to see everybody else's predictions beforehand, I'm not surprised to see gambles being played conservatively. I feel predictions being hidden until the game week starts would be more interesting (if that's even possible here) but this is so luck based that I'm not sure how much it would matter anyway.

I think generally a good method for making a prediction is stealing the best one, Laker's for instance, and then slightly adapting it where you think it could be better. It's like combined knowledge that way. I rarely do that because it is sort of cheating, sort of boring and uncreative, and because I am usually one of the first ones. But yeah, using other people's predictions to craft your own definitely helps in my view.

I'm also wondering whether there are tools from bookmakers that can be used to efficiently cheat. There must be such a method somehow.
