If something wasn’t going to be rotated back in again I’m sure Rockstar would market it as exclusive/limited edition and price it accordingly. It would be an easy way for them to get more people to spend big.

 

That said, depending on how the rotation works, there is a possibility that some items may become rare by virtue of how often they are available in the store.

Well judging by what was leaked, there isn’t much left for penthouse decorations

Either the old stuff will be available very soon or there’s a lot more stuff that we don’t know about

I have bought the yacht decoration(all 3) in casino floor and I can't find it in my decoration list , do anyone have the same problem?

P.s. I know how to place decoration in penthouse.

Right now I'm just playing with my switch and set my phone to alarm me every 48 minutes so I can walk from the penthouse media room to order my chips using the phone and then walk back to media room to watch tv so I don't get auto kicked.

Oh well. Back to playing pokemon. Maybe after few days I actually have enough chips to buy all the new stuff that I want.

Do the Free Roam Casino jobs. They pay out in chips also and only have a 2 minute cool down. Most of the chips I have and spent have been via these jobs.

They can only be placed in certain locations (the entrance hall table and the office table are two i know of)

Bought the gold guns case hoping thats what the spot in the office is for, but nope. More evidence towards not being done with casino story yet? the big spot in the office shelves with white bg and lights that you cant put anything in, could be reserved for some special unlock from further story stuff??

Finally boo that the little doomsday missile thing is considered a large item, now i have nowhere to put it, and i was kinda hoping for more car stuff in this update. Oh and yay vice city painting.

The art is such an amazing feature, I'm going to check out the new stuff now. Quick question while I start browsing: how do you add more small art pieces to those shelves (in which a lot should fit)? I seem to only be able to place one or replace that one, I must be doing something wrong. When I press the button for the next spot, it doesn't go to the next shelf, but rather a completely different spot in the room.

Hats off to R* for allowing us to do this with our penthouse. Easily the best part of the update.

 

I really hope we get to do this with future properties, or even existing ones? We'll see.

Can you select this spot in the decorations menu?

There should be a button to select the different spots in the cabinets.

 

On PC it's left and right key. (Usual is Q and E.)

Damn, noticing that the former decorations were no longer in the store downstairs, I spent a few hundred thousand on getting all I wanted (among which, of course, the yellow coned dog). I wonder whether the old decorations will be gone for those that didn't buy them, because if they are I'm going to have to keep an eye on updates. Luckily I won all my chips back with blackjack already, now on to decorating

Thanks, it's good that they will at some point return, would be a waste otherwise. But looking at the amount of decorations (over 300 IIRC) it will probably take a long while for them to return. I'll buy all I want anyway just to be sure. As long as gambling stays the way it is now that's no problem anyway as I can get the chips back in an hour or so.

Yeah, I noticed the white pug sculptures are no longer available. Neither some others. 

 

They have to come back at some point. I'll get all the available ones this time, just to not bother about rotations anymore.

Just a mentioning. Be sure to put "Cool Sky Dreaming" or "The Deal Is Done" in the lounge for a surprise. They're the only pieces that have something unique on the back and you can only see it in the Lounge. I wish there were more spaces that weren't up against walls.
