suicidal_banana Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 Honestly of all the 'double sided pieces' i really only like the chrome wings (most detailed of all wings, other color wings seem 'washed out' for some reason?) against the curtain leading to the theater (least obtrusive spot) I specifically worked towards getting the double sided piece with the shark maming stuff because i thought it was funny, but YOU CANT PLACE IT ANYWHERE SENSIBLE, its clearly made for somebody to stand behind then you take a silly picture, but in the entire maxed out penthouse theres ONE spot where you can do that, and then theres still a bunch of foot-stools right in front of it ruining the picture from one side and preventing you from standing on the other side. Seriously R* what the hell, i can sorta partially accept that some paintings only go in some places (even tho for the most part theres bscly no logic to that, just let us use all big paintings at all big painting spots, jeez) but it sucks that i spent 78k chips or whatever it was on a artpiece i cant even properly enjoy now, pretty big oversight, could've bought a bunch of small decorations with that instead had i just known about this oversight. Fingers crossed we do eventually get more places where we can use the decorations we're collecting now so i can actually use this decoration as it clearly was intended to be used. Also as im starting to acquire more and more paintings and trinkets i really wish the decoration menu would not just show a check-mark when you have an item, but also show a icon if that item is currently in use somewhere, i just want to easily see what stuff i DIDN'T place yet, is that too much to ask? Who would have thought artwork would turn out to be the best feature of the update? I have over 100 useless wall shelves and only 25 items, most of which are on tables because if you give me the option to put a knick-knack on a table, it's going on the table. Even if they add new stuff and remove some things, it doesn't mean that what was removed won't return. I doubt anything will be rare, and good looking is subjective. The amount of wall space they gave us in the penthouse made it obvious there was going to be much more than the currently limited selection of knick-knacks we have right now. Right now I'm just playing with my switch and set my phone to alarm me every 48 minutes so I can walk from the penthouse media room to order my chips using the phone and then walk back to media room to watch tv so I don't get auto kicked. At least the nightclub generates more money at the same time. Oh well. Back to playing pokemon. Maybe after few days I actually have enough chips to buy all the new stuff that I want.
