[GTA:SA] Help modifying CJ's face

So, i've been trying to edit CJ's face to no success. I tried to replace the original face (head.dff and player_face.txd) with another face 3d model but the game crashes, and I couldn't find any tutorial on this. Somebody knows how to change CJ's face properly?
