I really liked Vincent in this game.  A really nice guy and a likable character - which is saying a lot for GTA, considering there are so many annoying, irritating, moronic and hateful characters aplenty.

 

Throughout the Casino missions, he's treated like crap, and then to top it off, he gets fired at the end of the final mission!  I know it's just a computer game, but I felt really bad for the guy.  So lame.

 

It has made me hope for an addition to the Casino DLC in which he returns.  Which then got me thinking.

 

Maybe Vincent, so bitter at his betrayal and dismissal from the Casino, becomes a new contact for a brand new heist involving the Casino to enact his revenge.  Think about it.  He knows the security side of the Casino, and can use us as the players to help him out, considering we have a Penthouse right there on the property.

 

What do you think?

Yep.  Never trust someone who would betray someone else for you.  It is an indication of their personality.  If they betray others, they could one day so easily betray you.

Theres is some post in your conspiracy (? Im joking. Felt bad too for Vincent, I was expecting that he broke the nose of that f*cking texan. In this game everything is possible. I want to see Vincent in some future DLC, so your idea isnt bad, the only counterpoint is that Vincent doesnt seem very inteligent, like Lester

Yeah, the whole thing really feels cut short. Now the question is if there is a continuation to it, is it in the dripfeed or if it will be done with an upcoming update.

I think it's just implied he isn't intelligent, but we don't really see much evidence of that.  Either way, it's the perfect opportunity for him to recruit us.  He knows the security systems and layout, he just needs us to be the brains and combat of the operation.  We become rich, as does Vincent who is now much happier with his own pad in Vinewood Hills - everyone's a winner!

I'm guessing dripfed. Maybe they were testing it with the Deluxe Repo work. Those mission were added entirely through tunables if I remember correctly.

Honestly exactly what i was thinking the moment they fired the poor guy, cant wait for his call to team up robbing the texas assface for all of his inherited money and taking full ownership of the casino, i'd totally let him run a basement of illegal operations too

Then after that we use the casino to help brucie get the funds to franchise his tuning shop from gta4, so we get the tuning dlc all the changes to cars have been leading up too ^^

Obviously just hoping for things here, but i see opportunity for several different dlc to come out of this casino in a later stage

yea i felt bad for the guy. if i could i would hire him to do my business stuff. like collecting supplies for bunker. or other things. its funny because before i completed all the missions. i saw people talking about vincent. and the way they made it sound i thought he was going to die. so the whole time i was wondering when he was going to bite the bullet. so i am happy he survives. and i would be all for the idea of teaming up with him and robbing the casino. and kill the second texan.

Yep this entire update has a "did you think you're finished yet" feel about a load of things. 

Collections, items on rotations, a glorious dripfeed, peyote plants and unreleased modes, plus others. I think some people may perhaps jump the gun with the overall "there's not enough in this update" sort of thing. Who knows, can't please everyone anyway.

Yep. Utterly baffling. R* have gone out of their way to really put Vincent down. To me, it's a clear indication that he'll return with revenge on his mind.

Sadly, it's the narrative of this game. The good one rarely benefits. Hopefully he makes another appearance down the line.

As pretty much everything else in the game, the ending was criticism of the status quo in the US and pretty much rest of the world; quarter by quarter companies try to improve their profits, switch to "barely champagnes" and yes, give the boot to liked and possibly crucial employees without a second thought and in the worst cases smug smile on the owners' faces. It's of course possible that R* does fans a favor and add some missions with Vincent seeing as they like to recycle characters, but personally I didn't interpret the ending as nothing much than "just another day in current business world" where after you have stopped being needed, you are obsoleted. And the comment by MS. where she says something along the lines of "well, this is how it's like under an American owner", maybe this criticism was pointed more to western capitalism than that of eastern.

Vincent probably got fired because of his incompetence on the roof during mission 5. Three of us hanging back in the urinals while Vincent stands behind a pillar, firing shots from his machine gun but never killing anyone. Eventually, after restarting several times and clearing out the waves, Vincent moves forward at the scripted moment, promptly to disappear again! We then had to work our way around the rooftop, clear everyone out, and THEN meet Vincent back at the entrance where it all started. He basically did nothing besides wait for his man bun to grow .

I felt bad for Vincent too. However, we should not rob the casino, we should rob the source of his dismiss: the filthy ratty texan nephew. What a dickhead.
