I don't own any Helicopter from the Aircraft Concierge Menu, but I would like to buy one.

So, what is the best helicopter or the fastest one?

The last three are slow, the supervolito tips over easily when landing, so i’d say swift.  Doesn’t matter wich one, they are the same except for the livery.

SuperVolito flies the fastest but will have issues with landings it properly, on top of not being able to use passive mode.

Get a standard Swift, which is just the same as of the Flying Bravo and Deluxe variants, but less expensive and is the first on the concierge list.

For pure speed it's a toss-up between the Volatus and the Swift Deluxe. Volatus is hell to land due to its high centre of gravity and narrow undercarriage though, so avoid that if you're a novice. SuperVolito Carbon is up there, and is my favourite civilian helicopter to fly (especially in first person), but it can also be tricky to land. You need to gently touch down one skid before the other, as it will tip backwards if you're not careful. Turning the energy of the tipping motion into a side to side movement solves this.

If you don't have ANY helicopters, then the Buzzard is the essential purchase, as it is still the most useful tool in the game. Spawns at your feet, is armed, carries 4, and is pretty nippy.

Edit: Oh yes, the standard Swift will allow you to use passive mode; the others won't.

The Volatus is the fastest but you cannot use passive inside it, same as Supervolito, so I would pick Swift (not the deluxe because it also doesnt allow passive mode).

The Volatus is the fastest in a straight line. I use it from the CEO menu a lot. Yes, it's hard to land but 95% of the time I bail out and don't even land it because I only need it to go from A to B quickly (or rather the air above B).

The Swifts are the 2nd fastest and they are slightly more maneuverable and easy to land. It's also the first entry in the list.

That's a good point as well. You probably get shot down in populated lobbies if you want to leave the casino in a heli without passive mode.

It's time to buy the Swift or whatever aircraft you want:

Personally I prefer the SuperVolito, its fast, good looking and you can spawn it from the securoserv vehicles menu. I own all the helicopters in the game (except the Havoc) and the SV is my favorite of the bunch, I use mine all the time. But since we can't use passive in it, I recommend the regular Swift.

Unless you play purely in I/O or friendly lobbies, this is all that matters here really (sadly).

If that doesn't matter to you, I'd recommend the Volatus just because it's the most baller. Yes, I am english and I just used baller.

Volatus over Swift Deluxe as most baller? I'm not so sure...

The original loading screens for it said it was solid gold and I can't shake that off. It'd be like 100 tons.

Also I have a thing for carbon fibre.

Volatus all the way, just be wary of letting your nooby friends land it as they are often not prepared for its tendency to roll on uneven ground
The one thing i still hope they fix one day: It has stealth rotor but still sounds like any other pleb heli, it should be a bunch quieter... just sell me a matte black one with gold trim and champagne in the back, virtually silent and off radar 24/7. Volatus Stealth or w/e.

What we really need (and what i was really hoping we would get with Casino DLC) is the ability to buy a second hangar

That or maybe just adding more storage space in our hangar if Rockstar are really lazy.

Personally I have always preferred the SuperVolito Carbon.

...because I totally dig Carbon Fiber.

The non-carbon one is CEO insta-spawn though.

The storage space is actually the hangar layout +1. Really weird.

You can store 20 Titans in your hangar storage if you want, with a totally empty floor, and this is called 'full'.

Yeah, but those 20 Titans will be arranged according to the hangar layout, and they'll occupy spots "in storage" that would be for smaller aircraft on the hangar floor.

For example, if you have 19 Titans in storage, and place a small aircraft at the 3rd spot from the top on the hangar floor, it will be 6th in the request aircraft list.

It's a really weird mechanic.

I hope the Frogger can be used in passive mode?

I was stupid and got the SuperVolito - and that can't be used in passive mode.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Volatus if you don't expect to get shot at (which is basically never unless you're in an invite only session) or have to remain a CEO/MC president, and Swift (classic) for every other time so that you can go passive.

The Volatus is clearly quicker, but the Swift is no slouch either.

Is the lack of passive mode in most helicopters a deliberate feature or a consequence of disabling passive in armed vehicles?

I really hope this is something that they fix down the line. I like to fly in and out of my casino but would like the comfort of knowing I'm not gonna get blown out of the sky before I clear the pad.

I have a few passive helis but let's face it, I want to fly in my Swift Deluxe or Volatus.

Lack of passive was in the swift(?) or whichever heli you get with the yacht, so no, it did not have to do with the update disallowing passive in weaponized vehicles.  It makes not a lick of sense to me.  I voted frogger, because it is my favorite unarmed helicopter, is fun to fly, slightly underrated, and is quick enough for zipping somewhere without spending nearly 2 mil for an unarmed heli.  If money is no object, to each his own.
