It will be probably tie between Pariah for fast tracks and now-almost-fixed Itali GTO for short tracks.

Not sure about rally, it seems like Flash GT has a new competitor - Issi Sport.

Neon is probablly still very good for tracks that require a lot of acceleration.

 

The rest is not relevant but, of course, you can use them if you like. Maybe some of unreleased cars will be good too.

The Pariah has been by miles the fastest in sports for quite some time now. The Massacro and Jester race cars have always been competitive. 

 

The recent casino update has brought the Paragon R and Issi Sport into the fold (the Obey one may be in sports also, not bought it/seen it used in races yet). I have the Paragon R and it is decent, has very good handling, a little bit stiff so can suffer with understeer but seems to be very difficult to lose traction with. I raced it a couple of times and found it competitive however have to say i've not been in a race lobby against a modified Pariah yet (strangely). I dont own the Issi sport but noticed it in a couple races used by others on road tracks seems to be competitive.

I'm loving the Issi Sport for tracks without long straights, has a really poor top speed of 114mph but it corners like mad

Pariah seems to be the go to nowadays. I don't own one.

The Elegy RH8 and retro custom are still pretty competitive depending on the competition.

Shafter V12, I've been keeping up with GTO's at the front, great acceleration but can be twitchy on corners if you don't slow down enough.

Flash GT although great on corners physically won't make some jumps on stunt races.

You need three cars basically : Pariah for highway tracks or high speed circuits, itali GTO or NEO of stunt tracks and itali GTO for corner heavy tracks. 

If you have this 3 you are done.

Conveniently for R*, they're the most expensive, 2nd most expensive and 4th most expensive Sports cars. What a coincidence. 🤔

Pariah, Itali GTO and Issi Sport. That's all you need for this class these days.

 

Ignore the Flash GT because the Issi completely demolishes it on the tracks were they are competitive. I've broken my old record set with the Flash GT on Stunt - Rally without effort.

 

Pariah and Itali goes mostly neck and neck on stunt tracks, both are really good cars. Pariah has way better top speed but the GTO corners really well and get much more speed on tubes, so if you're a good driver you'll keep up with them really well.

 

Now, for non-stunt tracks things are a bit more complex, but these cars ain't a bad pick either for those.

Had a bit of hesitation before I decided to buy mine, but now I can totally recommend it! The Issi Sport demolishes everything else with how fast and easily you're able to take corners with it. Paired with its good acceleration and small size, the little thing is a actual monster on rally tracks.

 

My old record on Stunt - Rally was a 3:20 that I fought pretty hard to achieve with the Flash GT. The Pariah also could get almost the same time with a flawless run. But the Issi Sport get that sort of lap time without even pushing it hard. And if I do push it, 3:18~3:17 can be achieved. But 3:19~3:20 are now the usual times for me to finish a lap on that track, something that would be impossible with any other car unless if I somehow made some serious improvements to my skills :p It's a very easy car to drive, aside from being seriously quick. It is so grippy that's even funny, and it doesn't bounce all over the place either, so you can literally just blast it through corners in ways that would be suicide on a Pariah or Flash GT.

 

If in doubt, you could do as I did. Buy one, test on a few rally tracks against the Flash GT or your rally car of choice for racing. If it demolishes your performance with the old car, sell the old one and keep the Issi in its place. By selling my Flash GT, the entire cost of buying and customizing was covered and I still had over 100k of change haha :D If the results disappoint you, sell the Issi so you can recover a bit of the money spent right away.

The Issi Sport looks a bit crap but it's a ton of fun to drive.

 

I'd recommend it even if it wasn't top choice on any track.

On a track like Big Drop, the GTO is actually faster. It makes good on the loopings for that little it loses on the straight. After the update it really drives like a dream. And for the rally class, the Comet Safari? Anyone?

It has better top speed and 'better' off road grip loss than the Issi

A difference of 0.05 in off-road grip loss is very minor, and also the Comet Safari's tires don't clip, nor does it have downforce.

the safari used to be the best , until the Flash GT came out ...now the Issi classic is the way to go in rallye races ( heck , in some "regular" city races too ), like many have already said ...

it´s not the fastest top speed wise , and it hasn´t the best offroad grip loss, but it´s sooo easy to drive , has an incredible traction (cornering) and the re-acceleration in corners´ exits is just mindblowing (Itali GTO´s like )...

the Issi Sport is the big surprise in this update so far IMO ...

Don't forget about Flash GT. It's still very compatitive rally car, and I think it has slightly higher top speed than Issi. I've seen them in action and they fly past Issi Sport every straight.
