Armored Paragon insurance?

Somewhat interesting update, i just got a localized (so in my case dutch) response from a 'Tier 2' support person stating the following (loosely translated & slightly summarized)

Thank you for your messages.

I hope you don't mind we contact you in dutch, i'm [so and so] and i'm a dutch Tier 2 at R* Support.

I'm very sorry that the Enus Paragon R (Armored) that you won is no longer in your possession. I understand how it must be annoying to you that even after a couple of weeks you have not gotten your car back. In the past weeks we've been busy trying to find a solution for this loss, but so far we still have not found a way to successfully add this back to your account. Currently the developers are still working on a solution that will actually work, but sadly they have yet to give us any information that shows they have been successful and the problem was resolved.

I understand this is not the news you want from us, but currently we have no update, for the time being i will put your ticket on the 'On-hold' status, when we use this status a ticket will never be automatically closed and will remain high priority, meaning you will be one of the first to get notified once the problem does get resolved. I would like to ask you to not respond to this ticket further, as any reply you make will switch the status back to 'Open' and lower its priority.

My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that this causes you.

I hope this is enough information for now. If you have any further questions or issue's not related to the loss of the Paragon R (Armored) please don't hesitate to make a new ticket, if you do this in dutch it will end up at our dutch support office again.

At the very least this is confirmation that the issue was escalated internally, and i'll just ignore the fact that the person in question said the Armored Paragon i won is no longer in my possession.

It's a nasty bug for sure, and I'm sure they're getting a ton of flak over it.

 

But if you think support is going to manually add the car back to every angry player that spams tickets, you must be high. They are going to work on a blanket fix that adds the car back for everyone who lost it, obviously.

 

Probably best to just move on for now, and one day you'll log on and it will be there in your garage like it never left (or you'll have to collect it again) 👍

 

I have a feeling they might just give up and give it for free to everyone, but only time will tell either way.

i got mine back !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had the message that Barker left me something on the peers and voila !

 

lost my mods but at this point i dont care i have the car back

Lucky you 😛 gimme details, what platform? did you even contact support? did you replay the mission to get the message? thanks ^^

Guess thats why the servers just went down then, good times, time to see if i actually got it or if they're just giving me false hope again lols

Got the same reply, that I should get a new message from Miss Baker to collect a new one from the docks.

 

Have been playing for an hour and still didn't get an sms from her, of course, Simeon told me the cars he needs twice already

Same here, trying later today again

i think i had to restart GTA when i got the support ticket saying they got my car. and when i walked out my penthouse i saw the lil box saying Ms Baker left me an item... which was MY car again.. and Yeah i did recreate my car from its original self 74a9ce4a-b871-41cc-8d09-177297f178fe.PNG

yeah, same thing, got second reply from r* support finally, but no call/new car to pick up. and i've seen  players, who haven't lost it in the first place, getting second paragon. gg r* as usual.

well, around 6 hours ago they marked both my support tickets resolved with the same message that they fixed the issue and all people who lost their gifted Paragon R (Armored) should recieve a new one from Agatha to pick up again.

 

Started up the game and surprise, after another hour of playing still nothing. The support site does say there is a delay with the delivery of in-game gifts and other rebates. I wait till next week before I open the ticket again.

Got the same response everyone got while i was sleeping, so i opened gta today, got outside of my penthouse, played close to an hour, and got no message from Baker, gonna open another ticket, hopefully i get it soon.

Edit: Also restarted my game twice, and no message.

Pause > Online > Jobs > Rockstar Created > Missions > Casino - Cashing Out

Trying to do it now, as soon as i find a person to do it with, will update this reply with an edit if i get it then, after doing the mission.

Already tried this on pc and car has not appeared, nor message from Baker. Diamond program rewards are not there either.

It can take a while for Baker to give you the car. My 1st character got it right away, my 2nd took that long that I even had forgot about it. 

 

Keep filling tickets, maybe that accelerates the process.

I did the last mission again, nothing thus far, i might just give up on it, it's been weeks now, and both tickets i had got the same response, opened another one, hopefully i'll get it back one day.

It sounds from the ticket response above that a hotfix is needed/incoming.

This also strongly implies there is no way to fix it in the game currently, so maybe wait a bit. Bad I know.

I just want to note, that after hearing about the Paragon R Armored vehicle being awarded to players for completing the Casino missions as host, not coming with insurance, as soon as I was awarded the vehicle last week, I took it straight to the LSC to put insurance on it. When I tried to do this, the menu stated that it already had insurance.

 

I assumed that the bug for it coming with no insurance had been fixed?  Not true?

Yeah its fixed, its actually insured now, where before it would LOOK insured (in los santos customs & garage) but actually still not be insured, now that paragon (and any podium vehicle) is automatically properly insured

Best way to test yours, change something (paint or plate or w/e) and see if its still insured, if so your fine, if not insure it and you're also fine

So I am not sure what to say on this but I had an interesting bug with the Paragon.

 

I haven't used mine since I got it from Ms Baker other than collect it from the docks and drive it into one of my garages but today when I came on I got a phone call from her to go and collect the car again

at the docks and now I have two? Should I just look the other way and hope they are both insured or do you think this could be a new problemo?

I would report that as you're really supposed to ever have one, better safe then sorry, dont want some automated script to drive-by your profile and go 'this aint right' and take em both or worse

Edit: worst case scenario they take one, best case you get to keep both

Blow them both up. Might be a fix for someone who got a glitched uninsured one. I haven't got a second

Contacted support again, got the same dutch tier2 person again, she said that while there is a fix now it is delayed on PC and i should check tomorrow.
