Oh it's not in the patch notes or intentional I don't think. It's just broken.

 

Not really much comfort though, knowing how long they might take to fix it.

Worst part is that as a fix they'll probably just remove them from the menu and call it a day :)

So, first they technically buff the MKII by making it harder to counter on ground, then nerfing one of the strongest vehicles to counter.

 

I swear to god they're screwing us over.

I thought Bandito mines were a weird thing to remove. It does explode, after all. Hopefully they'll be back at Christmas. Sigh.

I just had a grey Security truck drive out of the casino after I started an invite only session. Followed it and shot it/blew it up, but it was empty. An artefact left over from casino work in the previous public session, or a new spawn?

a new scenario.

it can spawn randomly.

just like the gruppe 6 worker walking with the case in the casino.

 

it´s just to make it feel more "alive"

yep  , can confirm that the bandito lo longer drop bombs .... when I think that we already have paid for this ....

on another note , i m not sure guys but you can no longer put a bounty on a player in passive mode ??? since when ?

I thought she only said that in Story Mode where drinking was limited.

 

As far as I know, there's no limits for the Online player's drinking for her to use that dialogue, if my memory serves me right.

surely someone already mentioned this , but the "lauch glitch" with the Up-N-Atomic has been patched , you no longer can "launch yourself over fences" with it ...

you mean that it doesn´t launch you a bit in the air when shot at your feet?

Knowing R* they will ban people for getting extra wheel spins and leave mod menus and orbital cannons alone...

I have no idea if they do, but they could increment your activated_wheel count before you disconnect, leaving you with a huge activated-to-result ratio.

 

 

However if eg the PacStan, Doomsday finales and orbital cannon abuse are any indicator, you're entirely on the money.

Their save system is very archaic/primitive.

 

Instead of persistent and constant savings, the game uses a trigger and automated systems afaik. Basically, entering a penthouse/garage, changing outfits, purchasing something (in store/on the phone), launching and finishing a mission (in free roam/instance), the interaction menu etc. mostly force a save.

 

The game also save by itself regularly too if you simply play and stay in free roam without doing anything specific.

 

In other words, Rockstar assumed the game had enough trigger points to not worry about potential save issues. It saves often enough to avoid problems without spamming the servers with saves every seconds. That’s also why we can still play for a while when the servers struggle and the game is unable to save, because the save come from us instead of a constant exchange between the players and the servers. It goes like this:

 

Player → Server

instead of 

Player ←→ Server

 

Back to the wheel, the result of the wheel is registered when it stopsso it's extremely easy to abuse and predict whether or not we're getting what we want and disconnect in consequence as the wheel slow down, before the results are even registered.

 

The duration of the rotation is also not random nor related to our player/physical strength (unlike real life wheels of fortune), which means it has a minimum and maximum rotating value that are dependent to when you rotate and the value of your joystick input (some rumors from reddit also imply that if you wait 4 seconds and push lightly it will always have the same rotation strength and always move a specific amount of slots). 

 

The only way for Rockstar to solve wheel abuse would be to determine and save the results in advance right as it register your joystick input and before the rotating animation even starts instead of at the end. That way, players would be unable to assume and prevent certain results... And assuming we can indeed predict with the 4 seconds manipulation thing, the margin of error is still very big and by the time they find out whether or not we pulled it right, the results are already saved.

 

But that's too much of a hassle for Rockstar to reopen their codes and manage their stuff better. It's been 2 weeks and a half aready and it's still there. It's surprising they didn't predict these abuses lol, so either they don't care enough or it's too complicated to fix.

just to let you people know,i was able to lock on to a opressor mk2 with my hydra 2 days ago so that may have been fixed.

 

(targeting mode was set on strangers)

Nope, there was already a solo method: You could also get one by playing (and failing) a bunker mission.

In the bunker mission at banning docks: after collecting the crate, on the way back to bunker, ennemies in Dubstas are attacking you. You needed to kill them and steal one of their Dubsta and then hide and wait until the mission time elapses so the mission would fail. You could not save their black Dubsta but you could use it to spawn a gold/chrome Dubsta

Yes, it was there. It was added with arena wars dlc.

Basically it's one of the 3 "beyond the stars" spawn locations (when passing drinking macbeths in night club) that were added with AW dlc (1. Zancudo River Alien Egg/crashed UFO bunker mission location. 2. Hippie camp omega's space docker garage's door. 3. Kraken in Paelto Bay north sea, just above the sunken UFO)

I have not seen anything about clothing menu so here are some changes i have noticed:

1. Special Tops Brands section has been modified: it does not contain dupes anymore.

Most of the players were having an issue not beeing able to browse Brands seciton because they were having 124 items of more.

As an example, they could not see the toe shoes tee in their wardrobe

2. Three new sections were added to special tops menu: Arcade, Casino, Fame or Shame

These were never available in your wardrobe. They should be in normal stores under festive tops.

I got them indeed as well as all the Xmas hoodies we got from Event business battles last year end.
