This is like the complete opposite of what i do if i wanna win the car...

I go to the wheel, trough the menu, then like 0.5s after getting allowed to spin (so bscly the moment you see that little box pop up) i hold down the spin button for at least 1.5s, that does a 'hard' spin (goes around several times) and then lands on the car most of the time. Like, i stopped doing the whole repeat thing since figuring this out, its consistent enough that i dont need more then 7 tries over the course of a week, if i want to win a car, i can, if i dont want the current car i just try different timings to try figure out what timings are consistent for the mystery prize (again if anybody has this info plz share)

Ive hit mystery at least 8 timea and never gotten anything at a value of over 125k. That was a rare pocket watch last week; everything else has been under 30k. Thr 30k was just cash.

Sooo is everyone else getting the same result a surprising amount of the time? I can't seem to shake the $40k 'jackpot', have never hit mystery, won 3 cars including 2 taipans in 1 day. Yesterday 20k on alt and 40k on main.

 

Suggests there's a way to game this, if so. Not sure about the "4s and slow spin" method. Time of day maybe?

Apparently I've been pretty lucky with this. I've managed to get 3 cars so far (the last 3 in a row), even though I don't remember to open the game more than every two days at most on average. Got the last one today.

You'll get RP. Don't know if the amount of RP is always the same but it happened to me twice and I got 20,000 RP both times.

Before you spin it tells you that you'll get RP if you've already won the car.

Yes, I've noticed this as well. When I first started using the wheel I always spun right after the prompt and quite often I landed on the same RP spot -- the one next to the vehicle. That's why I thought the wait time after the prompt determined the result, but while it lands me in a general area, something else still seems to factor into it.

Has any GTAFer won the Lost Slamvan? I know there were several who glitched it before that got patched. 

 

Even with the internet connect method, landing on Mystery and having that be the Slamvan would be excruciating.

I've been trying AutoHotkey scripts with fixed wait times but can't get consistent results.

 

Currently I'm working on one that walks me from the penthouse to the wheel, in the hope that the time you enter the casino serves as a random seed. It's a bit tedious because every time I enter the casino it loads a different population and the script keeps bumping into NPCs.

I have a working one that presses E, Enter, <wait time>, and then S.

 

The problem with that one was that if indeed the time between the prompt to spin and the time I hit S determined the result, then the spot (on the floor) where I started the script also factors into it, because the char has to walk to the spinning position first, which takes a different amount of time depending on the starting position.

 

If you are interested though I can post that script here.

It did with my script because it's purely input related so the wait time started after hitting Enter. Ideally the wait time would begin after the prompt to spin but I can't do that.

Won the Taipan the other day...was surprised to see that it could be sold for $198K...when I won the Thrax it had zero resale value. These are so far the only cars I've won so not sure how much the others sell for...anyone else know?
