It's a waste of time, and the only reason I keep spinning it is on the off chance I get the Slamvan. Anything else is just useless. 

Have you tried waiting a specific time after the prompt to spin? You might be able to get on Mystery fairly reliably if you do this. (Assuming the wheel is always in the same position.)

 

Of course even if you get on Mystery the chance for getting the Slamvan is not too high.

I haven't been on GTA Online as frequently as I did the first two weeks after the update first dropped; still, I've racked up a good hoard of goodies from the wheelspins I've remembered to do! Here's the list:

 

- $35,000

- 25,000 chips

- A torn up t-shirt

- A regular, not torn up t-shirt

- A hat or something

- An EgoChaser bar.

People on reddit were saying that they wait 4 seconds on a default position wheel (invite-only session) to get the vehicle, but then other people said it didn't work for them.

 

I've noticed that when I go into an invite-only session and spin right as I get the prompt, the wheel lands on RP.

 

When I wait a couple of seconds I get different stuff.

Waiting 4 seconds on the "Use L3 to spin" prompt gives you a really slow spin, that sometimes barely even moves 3 places. Haven't tested enough to see if there are more precise measurements, but the amount of force does differ.

 

p.s. a regular fast spin just gave me a Mystery Vapid Bullet! Now that takes me back to the good old last gen days. Never actually owned one before.

Yeah, it applies when you purchase the vehicle, just like the discounts from the Lifeinvader pages. Dinghy is a free CEO insta-spawn vehicle if you ever find yourself floating in the middle of the ocean (although the Merryweather boat pickup is cheaper for the amount you'll use it). Everything else is tied to the handful of Pegasus spawn points. There are so many NPC boats around the map you can steal, it's not really worth buying your own.

until now i won the podium vehicle every week  

and made around 1 million from selling my already ones ones.

I re-downloaded this back onto my PS4 about two weeks ago now, have spun the wheel every day since then - so far, no cars.  20K chips, 10K chips, 10K RP, 5K RP, $40K and assorted clothes and discounts.  0 cars.
