Strike Command

I felt like it would be a good idea, in the temporary absence of patch notes, to have an area to submit noticeable changes to old mechanics.

Try to limit replies to found information.

 

Ill start:

Passive Mode is disabled in weaponized vehicles

 

Killing a player extends the passive cooldown to 2 minutes, if not greater than.

 

Passive mode has a cooldown timer of 5 minutes

 

Entering a weaponized vehicle disables passive mode, effective after 30 seconds.

Just to clarify, do you mean killing somebody extends the passive cooldown by 2 minutes, so if it's now 5 minutes by default then killing somebody makes it 7 minutes?

It still appears on your MC menu. The OP Mk 2 hasn't been changed at all from what I can tell

To my knowledge it sets it to 2 minutes, but more testing is needed obviously.

If PM doesnt work on military vehicles and weaponized one this is a HUGE change, is this true ?

So it's 5 minutes normally, then you kill somebody and the cooldown reduces to 2 minutes?

 

I think you've got that wrong.   Surely killing people should increase the cooldown, not reduce it by 3 minutes?

The correct term is Mid Drive Speed Boost.

 

When you're on second gear, in a Rear wheel drive car, let go off the accelerator, tap the handbrake and accelerate again, your car should launch forwards with incredible acceleration.

 

In particular, the Stirling GT, Schlagen GT and the Banshee are amazing to pull this off.

 

If the flags were fixed in the Taipan, it should now get this boost instead of losing power.

Have they finally fixed the whole menu? Sometimes the SecuroServ and Motorclub menus wouldn't show up, other times its wasn't possible to access them even if you were a MC or CEO/VIP.

It was never related to the menu itself, it was related to the Rockstar services and connectivity. The less players in the session - the more stable the menu. Idk, if it's the case now

This applies to my Savestra with MGs, but not my Comet Safari without MGs.

It seems they revamped it too, with new/changed objectives. One of mine is 'Resupply the Meth Lab'. I don't think objectives like that were ever a thing before today.

That's actually pretty cool. I got new objectives before the upgrade, and I still have those.

I doubt that a player who doesn't own a Meth Lab will get that daily objective. It is probably based around what you own, and what your character has the capacity to do.
