Sidelord
Hello dear friends, The barricades between towns have re-appeared in all the bridges, even though I was doing the Toreno missions, so none of them should be there now. I think. Below I will describe the problem in details. So I've been trying some Mods with Modloader and stuff and have been getting a lot of game crashes, so I've had to change a lot of things in the Game folder. In fact, I uninstalled the game and made a fresh install betwen the Toreno missions. I have noticed now that the town barricades are back, and so far there is no way to remove them. I have also changed the main.scm and script files with the original GTA 1.0 ones, and that might have caused this, but I am not really sure how I could fix that. Anyone can help me with this? I have tried to replay the Yay Ka Boom Boom mission, because I feel like it might get rid of them, but my game has been crashing every time the timebomb vehicle explodes, so I haven't really seen the outcome of finishing that missions again. Sidelord
Quote Thanks for the quick response. I actually have the Save editor, but the ticks are greyed out and I cannot modify them. I actually managed to replay the Yay Ka Boom Boom mission and the barricades between San Fierro and Las Venturas are now cleared. Now I have to find out which mission to replay in order to clear the ones between Los Santos and San Fierro now. A very primitive solution, but as long as it works, I'm good. Thanks again homie. cardboardbox1230
I think it's "Are You Going to San Fierro?".
OrionSR
Green Sabre removes the barriers between LS and SF, but replaying missions has a nasty habit of making inappropriate adjustments to the mission flow variables. There's a reasonably good chance this strategy will break your game, duplicate threads, skip missions, or have an incorrect completion percentage. A more reliable strategy is to upload your save to GTASnP.com and use the modifications tab to "convert" your IPL flags. This tool will reset your IPL flags to the appropriate setting for your game progression. Use the Enabled IPLs link to popup a readout of your current configuration. Determining your IPL version can be tricky as some downgrade strategies will modify the data files to v1 and others don't. IPL version is easily confused with but independent of the EXE version and script version. A reliable strategy is to create a new save with your current configuration and upload the save to GTASnP and check the enabled IPLs. To be honest, I wouldn't mind starting over, but so far I've been more focused on fixing the random crashes. As for the Green Sabre, I also noticed that the barriers are removed just by playing the mission without actually completing it. So, I just let Sweet die and the barriers are gone. I will have to see if Yay Ka Boom Boom ruined anything though. So far I've done a couple missions in the Desert area and all is going good. Back to the random crashes; I have only the Cheat Menu script and some vehicles, all simple stuff without HQML, IVF, etc., but I keep getting random crashes usually when I'm driving too fast in bridges that connect large areas, such as in Garver Bridge, or in other cases, when I load save games in Doherty, or when leaving the AC Tower in the desert. I've been suspecting that it's actually the vehicles that crash it, but it happened without them too, so I'm in doubt. Now I've turned the modloader logging off, and the game hasn't crashed since then, so I will play a bit more and see what happens. Edit: Nevermind, the game just crashed with modloader logging off too, so now I'm getting a bit frustrated.
