It’s just that if it’s an issue that touches everybody (or almost), it’s unproductive to solve this one by one. But fair enough lol.

 

That being said, as I logged in five minutes ago I got the 250k$ notification. Then as soon as I was in-game I got another notification in the corner of my screen telling me “Rockstar games has awarded you some clothes”.

 

It turn out I now have the Ash Hoodie. I don’t really remember ever purchasing that color and I don’t see any other potential unlocks (nothing new in Special Tops). The hoodie didn’t have the yellow “new” star in the menu though. 

 

I don’t have the new art poster yet.

Well this is good news, maybe they have started giving out the rewards.

I think people are getting confused. The 250k, hoodie and diamond casino wall art is pure login gifts. Of 2 accounts 1 of mine received awarded 250k for being a dedicated player message the other got 250k and in game items applied message.

 

Neither have the casino and resort wall art, both have the hoodie but one had already brought it. They have until 11th.

 

As for diamond program stuff one account will only get silver stuff the other should get it all but zero liveries, watches, tattoo or she's loaded wall art yet. But they say upto 13th.

My account was also notified of the 250k, hoodie, and wall art.  I have two characters on that account.  Now, as we all know, money is only awarded once per account, not per character.  

 

But in the case of awarded clothing, both characters on a single eligible account should receive the clothing.  That's how it's always worked in past, but that's not the case here, for some reason.  One of my characters already owned the Ash Diamond Hoodie, but my second character doesn't.  And while it appears available for sale at the casino store for my second character, it's not listed as free.  It should be, but it isn't.  There's a chip value attached to it, and my suspicion is that this would have been the same case for my first character had I not already purchased it.

 

And of course, the wall art is nowhere to be found.  So, they've messed up here.

Not sure why that is then. My account that didn't own it, didn't have to buy it. It just has a tick next to it in the casino store already. Hopefully l they give the wall art out tomorrow to both the characters... 

 

You may have a point though. I don't remember seeing that popup rockstar games has given you clothing on 2nd character so.... Hmm

That is the wording that is used in the newswire post - I confused it with the one that appears on the loading screen in game itself. That one mentions 'until'.

Well I mentioned it in the Q&A thread but I've also had notification of the 250k, received the money but no other items?

 

I imagine they have goofed again and I'll get an unlock tonight when I turn on my PS4 but I really wanted the Casino wallart so I hope it's there!

Do you have a second character on your eligible account?  If so, have you tried checking to see if the Ash Diamond Hoodie is checked off for that character as well?

Just for statistics:

 

- Have only one character

- Got 250k pretty much as soon as the news post appeared

- The wall art is not present in penthouse management list

- The wall art is not present in the casino store

- The ash hoodie is not present in my wardrobe

- The ash hoodie is present in the casino store, but is not listed as FREE

No unfortunately the main account with 2 characters both brought the hoodie. One I did see the clothing popup the 2nd I don't think it did.  Other account only has one character so can't really tell. I may make 2nd character on that account just to see if they have a tick next to it. But probably not cos new character won't have signed in at the time needed

Just give it til tomorrow they may be staggering what people get when. Nobody has the artwork. Some have free hoodie. Others got 250k days before. Could all be right tomorrow.

Edit. What character did you sign in on first? The one that already owned hoodie or the one where its still priced with chips?

I didn't say anything about not being able to see the Hoodie.  My first character can see the hoodie just fine, but then my first character already owned it.  My second character didn't (and still doesn't).  Same case for Beatrice's only character.

 

Anyway, we'll see what happens, I suppose.

Because this is not what is says on the splash screen in-game. It tells you that you can claim the items until the 11th, meaning they should already be there.  It does not say you will get the items by the 11th like in the newswire.

We also have 2 sets of items. The gifts are due by the 11th but the diamond program rewards are due by the 13th.

The confusion is the fault of R.

The ash hoodie was available before -- I had already bought it before I knew about the week one gifts.

 

Maybe the one from the promo is a different hoodie... like also ash but with a different script on it.

They both look same to me except on the NW, the hood is up. They could have messed up and put a wrong photo or even the wrong item, because like said why the hell are they giving a gift of a shirt that you can buy and was just release a couple weeks ago...makes no sense.

 

I know I mentioned it somewhere but they also either changed or messed up the reward for silver status. The original NW said we would get the Diamond Classic Tee then in this weeks NW they changed it to the Black Diamond Tee which again we already have lol

 

Idk whats goin on but somebody over there been hittin that bottle a lil too much I think.

I got the hoodie on both characters, there was a checkmark instead of a price.

Im in the same boat...I got the money notification days ago...no new items whatsoever. But strangely the liveries for the cars have stars next to them except no new liveries...

In my mind...since they updated the Newswire with the 13th as the date we will receive the items by...I am going to disregard what the loading screen says.

And I dont think the items will need to be claimed before they disappear like they usually do...they will probably just stay in the stores inventory.

 

My reasoning is because probably even Rockstar was surprised by the amount of players that played this Casino update...so they had to make some last minute changes in certain areas...thats just a guess though.
