So I pretty much knew I screwed up the first part of the Diamond Promotion with the Platinum and Diamond (did 5 missions instead of 5 work missions)...so I sent them an email thanking them for helping me get my items (the ones I earned that didnt show up)...but I told them I was disappointed with this promotion and was planning on cancelling my Prime membership because of it...(I may or may not have mentioned writing Amazon a letter)

 

I sort of pretended I completed the Diamond Awards...sent them a screenshot of my completed awards (by that point I had completed all the awards) Now I really wasnt lying. I wasnt exactly 100% sure if I missed it or not. I knew if I missed it...it was really really close. I was like 75% sure I missed the 5 work missions.

 

This was my last submission on the matter...and I was like if it works it works and if it doesn't it doesn't...And this is all due to that ECola Annis livery...if it was a generic shirt...I wouldnt have cared. So I sent if off thinking nothing of it...and I got an email yesterday saying my gifts would be deposited into my account.

 

I have no idea what actually caused them to decide to gift me the items...or if they can even tell if I did it by the appropriate date...I thought I saw posts where the supports staff told them they didnt meet the requirements in the right timeframe...

I did the 6 missions as host, but I never completed doing the 6 missions with someone else hosting and I still unlocked the eCola livery. Thanks Diamond Program.

 

Edit: After checking my Paragon I didn't unlock the yeti livery though, but it's available on my armored Paragon. Whatever, at least the racecar one will actually get used.

Still only Silver tier rewards here. Got another 'higher department' email telling me that 'they see' all rewards up to Diamond tier (even though I shouldn't have it). Made some new screenshots to prove to them that I only have the Silver rewards and reminded them of all the weird stuff that has been happening to my account (stopped getting any text promotion messages during GTAO loading, started having a ton of crashes - both of those things started happening RIGHT after a chat with support guy who tried adding my stuff manually but failed; curiously, that same support guy claimed that he can't find my account by name, telling me that such an account doesn't exist, and required me to tell him my email instead). Expecting another 'HERE'S HOW YOU CAN SOLVE THE TWITCH PRIME CONNECTION ISSUES' preset email.

Do you guys (on PC at least) still get the usual loading process with various promotion texts changing every ~10 seconds? After the contact with support that involved someone manually trying to add the items for me, I stopped getting those texts during loading. Only the pictures change, but there's no text at all. Usually, those texts are not just random generic stuff, and seem to be tied to the player (I got various messages about Twitch Prime rewards there and all that stuff, that seemed to be personally targeted), so their sudden disappearance right after these incompetent support guys meddled with my account seems a bit alarming. 

Don't worry about that, for me this started to happen with the recent tunable change, but they did not touch my account. I currently only get those when changing session.

Just got Stage 2 rewards, though! For some reason, only up to Platinum. What exactly constitutes for Diamond in wave 2? I wasn't going for the 2nd livery in the first wave, so never did all 6 missions as the joining player, only as host. Was 6 missions as host not enough for wave 2 diamond?

 

Also, another thing: I got the Royals tattoo in the saloon, but it isn't listed as free, it costs 45850$. Is that the same for everyone else?

No. Had to play them twice -- as host AND non-host.

eCola livery (if u have Annis S80RR ) can be applyed in Tuning shops.

Yeti Camo livery (if u have Enus Paragon R) can be applyed in Tuning shops.

 

In most cases you get notified,some times there is No notifications.

Where to check for rewards on DProgram Round 2:

 

Silver Status -  GTA$250,000

Most people got notified about money deposited to account.Otherwise look at your bank account.

 

Gold Status -  An additional GTA$50K, The playing cards-themed Royals Tattoo.

Most people got notified about GTA$ deposited to account.Otherwise look at your bank account.

Royals Tattoo can be found in Tattoo parlor Torso-Back (for me its not free, just unlocked).

 

Platinum Status -An additional GTA$50K,A vintage Benny's Original Motor Works poster (in game name Declasse Sabre).

Most people got notified about GTA$ deposited to account.Otherwise look at your bank account.

Poster can be found in Penthouse Managment menu-> Place Decorations ->Entrance hall->Starecase to terrace (4-13) and other playces.

 

Diamond Status - An additional GTA$50K, Red Diamond Tee (in game name Red The Diamond LS tee).

Most people got notified about GTA$ deposited to account.Otherwise look at your bank account.

Red The Diamond LS tee can be found in Wardrobe->Tops->Special tops->Casino.

 

 

*The GTA$ rewards stack, meaning that completing all of the prerequisites for each membership level will award you with a total of GTA$400,000 (250 000 + 50 000 + 50 000 + 50 000)

Just received my second round rewards of the Diamond Program. That's this nonsense done for a while.

 

However, I accidentally lost my alien tattoo having the Royals one applied, lol. I'm certainly not going through the effort of recovering that bugged crap until I'm sure it's been fixed.

I just don't see how they've managed to mess this up so bad. Or what the trigger could be. Both my accounts, 1 with 2 characters unlocked everything just a day late for phase 1 and days early for phase 2. The 3 guys I played the missions with had the same. And we are spread from the USA, UK, East Europe and Australia. Of course it won't help with people like that other guy putting in false claims for stuff they didn't earn.

Well in my case it's not difficult to prove at all - I got checkmark on all those trophies (plat) back then. And I got (EVENTUALLY) all rewards up to diamond from the first wave. So yes, it's amazing how difficult it seems to be for them to pay the rewards within a day or two.

Yeah it is bad they have failed this so bad. I knew it was going to be trouble by the sheer amount of confusion about doing in order or not. But I also suspect support has been hindered by the I didn't know I had to do the missions twice brigade, putting in tickets and just lying.

 

Also I was only on twitch prime trial. I've already had amazon prime trial on that account. I went to cancel it and it offered me another month free. All in all there has been some very generous discounts from this dlc when you add up the 1.5m penthouse and 85% discounts on some good weaponised vehicles.

My feeling is that it might be more time-consuming than they anticipated rather than difficult (although they've certainly had their difficulties in confirming requirements too).

 

With hindsight, the program should've been just a simple log-in check.  Period.  And the expansion, for all it offered, wasn't much of an expansion.  They should've just bundled all rewards (including the wholly separate Thank You Gifts) into a single promotion and simply said: "Log in at anytime from July 23 to August 21st and you'll get... stuff!"

 

With the huge influx of both new and returning players this update brought them, this was a really bad time for them to muck up a promotion.  They should've just kept it simple.

I guess the Twitch partnership added something to this equation. Perhaps certain giveaways like penthouse didn't register properly as they weren't not paid for and that prevented met bonus requirements showing up the right way...? Oh well, there's still time.

Not really, it's already 2 weeks past the time. Support did however finally compensate me with 500k (1.5M+ lost) for broken daily objectives though, so that's something at least. Still waiting for my DP rewards round 1... (and 2).

Yeah I didnt waste their time...I didnt receive my gifts. I dont know what to tell you Im not the one who s*** the bed...Rockstar did. Europe, PC-Steam, Finland: I think I got all 2nd phase stuff now, but frankly was too tired to even check them after this wait. I got the 400k splash screen, I saw the Benny's poster in decorations, I think I already had the red t-shirt. Didn't check tattoo parlour. Is there anything else I should check?

I've lost my alien tattoo, too. At least I'm not alone.

 

I've received all of the Diamond rewards so far, too. I got the $400k (and presumably other stuff for this week) on Sunday so it can take a while.

I don't understand how can they be so incompetent. I've sent them screenshots, videos, in-game bank account logs etc. and they keep insisting that I don't have a penthouse... If the game knows I do have the penthouse, they have to know that as well. [email protected][email protected] game as a service bs.

I don't understand why they keep asking for video evidence that I qualify only to then tell me that on their end I don't end they can't do anything. Seems like my adventure with gta online ends here as it's my 1st exclusive I wont have and not due to my fault but theirs. If I don't have them all, no reason to play.

when I had mine done.., weeks ago..,

I missed one support team member cause I was looking elsewhere..,

but then I restarted and got answered pretty quick..,

 

also, if you got all the requirements before the event end.., I'm sure you should get your awards..,(at all else)

The watches were paid, the artwork, liveries, and tshirts were free. The hoodie was buyable in the first or second week anyway so probably paid if you didn't already own it. If you unlocked the other stuff you got platinum... I mean diamond. See you got me there! . Oh and the first tattoo was free until phase 2. That now has a price on it and now the phase 2 tat is free. It honestly wasn't that hard to know if you'd unlocked the awards by the date required.
