Casino Parking/Garage

What’s everyone’s thoughts on how many parking spots there will be in the garage? I know I saw something that implies ten spots, but maybe that’s just the base level that comes with the penthouse, and you can add more?

 

Personally, I’m hoping for at least 30 spots. It’s on par with both the Nightclub and Arena updates, and the DLCs have had 20-30 cars. I have a master plan of how I want to move all my cars around, plus add in the new ones, but it assumes we’ll get at least 30. 

 

Seems like we won’t know until Tuesday morning, but it’s a fun discussion.

Well the parking garage and your personal garages are two separate things.

 

It seems there will be a parking garage for all players to park together, car meet style. Then there will be a personal garage, which the neswire says can at least hold 10 cars based on their wording. 

 

I would assume the parking garage has 30 spots, one for each person in the session, and the personal garage has 10 slots, but 3 purchasable floors (not dissimilar to the Office, Nightclub, and Arena garages).

Yes, sorry. I was specifically wanting to discus garage space for personal vehicles. Three levels of ten would be great. More is even better for future/small DLC cars. 

 

The shared garage for car meets is a very nice touch. I hope the lighting works well for showing off everyone’s personal art pieces.

Well, you should see my master spreadsheet and how I want to organize once the Casino drops. 

 

Wanting 30 is based on already owning and moving 26 Super cars to the garage, and having four extra for

new Super cars. Then shuffling everything else around to better organize by class. I’m almost maxed out on current personal vehicle parking and I’d like to keep going. 

 

So, call it selfish, but I’d like 30 spots in the Casino.

More garage space is great, stoked to hopefully have 3 floors so I can move 10 Supers, 10 Sports Classic and 10 Muscle in there. Most importantly, can't wait to trade in 2 City properties and get my two 6 Car properties in Paleto Bay back.

Not looking forward to moving the cars unless I can abuse the Valet service with no cool down, that'd be perfect.

10 sounds right because it's not like you are buying the casino. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me like you are buying a room and doing missions in someone else's casino, so it would be more like buying the apartment that gives the lester missions. No other non business gives you more than 10 unless I'm missing something.

While it’s not a business, Arena came with option of 30 when you got the Workshop. Somewhat same situation, you purchased a space inside a shared location.

Im mostly wondering how big that public underground garage is, would be sweet if it fits 30 cars (so all players in sess can park there at same time and do a car show/meet)

This is what has me interested. I’m assuming weapons won’t be enabled, so car meets will be incredibly safe compared to what we have now.

At least until the mod menus start up again and allow people to equip weapons inside...

This is the only picture of garage.....no "floor Logo" while all multi-floor garage have some logos on it.....I hope the logo is on the camera side....

Camera angle makes it look very similar to the out of focus garage, as I like to call it.

The new garage look similar to this garage or tunnel garage under vehicle warehouse...

Compare with the luxury penthouse upward,this garage is disappointing.......even the apartment garages have better interface

My personal thought is tat we will have our own personal ten car garage under the Casino, separate world space.

 

Then we will have Valet Parking where we park in a marker outside the Casino and an NPC gets in our cars and drives them into an above ground Parking Garage that's in the same world space so people can walk in and see other people's cars. My guess is that the Valet Parking will have at least thirty plus spaces so everyone in the server can get parked.

I like the idea of a shared garage because then people could have a car meet in regular sessions without as much worry about some jerk ruining the fun. Though my bigger interest goes to the personal space allocation. 10 slots doesn't seem like enough and if I'm some high roller at the casino I'm gonna want to show off more than just 10 vehicles. Even if they are on separate garage floors.

IMHO the personal garage will have just 10 slots.

Watching the only image available about the penthouse garage, it doesn't seem to have more levels and the website doesn't talk about more than 10 slots. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't have too high expectations about this.

I noticed the lack of floor signage as well. Hoping it the angle, and I hope there are some decor mods avail because this photo is awfully basic.

That reminds me of the lighting in the Arcadius centre garage, that has the unique ability to make the shiniest paint look matte.

So, what's the final verdict? From what I've read so far, it seems a parking garage (personal vehicles) for 10 cars is all we can buy. While the DLC contains ~22 new vehicles. True?
